Happy first day of October! 🍂

Looking back in summer, what was your favorite highlight? Hiking? Camping? Lake days?

Luna cracks me up by the way she sleeps and now how she sits like she's human. 😆
Love this pup. Whoever let her go is really missing out on a wonderful pup. by @coffeeandmutts

2nd Friday to go hiking. We went back to the Muenster Lake because Luna has never been. Bandit absolutely loved it just as much as last time. He even got a little bit of off leash time when we made it to the lake. He enjoyed having a buddy there, although Luna didn't seem to thrilled about him.

Took Luna to the Muenster Lake for the 1st time yesterday. It was also her 1st hike since being with us. She did great.

Yesterday I took Bandit on his 1st fall adventure of 2026. We went and got coffee & they surprised us with a pup cup.
After delivering my dad his coffee ☕️ we went to the Muenster lake. We walked the hiking trail. I didn't realize it was going to be as long as it was(not super long) but it was well worth it. We found a random picnic table and another bench looking over the lake. It was an amazing view.
He finally got to wear his lake dog bandana from @tailsgonewild
I believe the walk was a little over 2 miles altogether. He is the bestest boy. 💙 by @coffeeandmutts

I'm terrible at social media and just realized I never gave an update on Cocoa's foot.
I was amazed at what came out of that tiny hole on the top of her paw.
Now that it is out, her foot has healed.
Has this ever happened to your pup?

Update on Cocoa's foot:

I tired the aloe vera 1 time. It did help a little. After talking to a friend, I decided not to do aloe again because she said not to wrap it, and Cocoa just licks off the aloe.
So, instead, I soak it in warm salt water. The salt water helps more. It helped with the swelling and the redness. The wound is still draining. Cocoa is no longer limping on it.
Cocoa doesn't seem to be bothered by it as much. It's red in the photo because she has still been licking it when it drains. by @coffeeandmutts

I know I post a lot of the pups lying around the house, but Cocoa runs ALOT. Way more than the other dogs.

Yesterday, I think she got stung by a bee in between her toes. When I first saw her licking, I thought it was her allergies again. When I got a closer look, I saw a little bubble blister in between her toes and above were swollen and very red. She was limping a little bit.
Today, it's a little worse with an open sore. I'm not sure what I can do since it now has an open spot on it. by @coffeeandmutts
