Our support for Venezuela continues…

When we introduced Maboya, our coffee from Venezuela, we committed to donating €1 from every Maboya batch brew and €10 from every kilo of Maboya coffee sold to support the communities affected by the earthquake.

And now, our green coffee partner @curador.coffee is helping us contribute even more.

Curador has offered us the green coffee at a reduced price, allowing us to put more towards our donations. At the same time, through their Café de Venezuela program, Curador is donating a portion of sales from participating coffees to the Venezuela Recovery and Reconstruction Fund, administered by CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean.

It’s a reminder that when everyone along the coffee chain contributes, from origin to exporter, roaster and coffee drinker, small actions can add up to something bigger.

We were honored to have been invited by the Ambassador of Brazil to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, H.E. Fernando Simas Magalhães, to celebrate 200 years of friendship between Brazil and the Netherlands, as well as Brazil’s National Day.

It was a great celebration filled with churrasco, caipirinhas, samba, and of course, our Flora coffee.
