This is a design for a D&D character that i had laying around for ages but never had the chance to try him out. This is Merry! The jolly, whimsical and agressively friendly tiefling warlock.

Due to his misshapen face and vitilligo spotted skin the tiefling who is now known as Merry was riddled with insecurity. So he made a deal with his lovecraftian warlock patron to rid him of his insecurities. He got granted a mask that grasped onto his face and now he wears a big ol' smile wherever he goes! He truly became Merry. And he is physically incapable of not feeling giddy, jolly and concerningly whimsical!

Dusting off my drawing tablet and rattling off aome of the rust in preparation for Art Fight next month! (Do you hear the drums of war yet?). Wanted to have some fun with colors so i started a portrait from reference and started goofing around.

"They will get their excecution. I will get my freedom"
Did someone say nautical themed eldritch horror? Had the chance to see Iron Lung in theatres and really loved it! I was especially obsessed their captivating use of the very limited light sources. Using only the glow of the interface buttons in all the dark scenes. SO GOOD 💜💜

Almost forgot to post this! Was experimenting with color and wanted to try and replicate that early 2000's flash photography vibe.

Experimenting with colors! Didn't focus too much on what it's supposed to look like and focused more on what looked fun :^)

[Swipe!] I joined The Big Draw window route this year! This year's theme was 'drawn together'. Thanks again to @tattoocollectors.nl for letting me draw all over your windows ✨️. This project was way out of my comfort zone since i hate doing line art and i hate drawing on a big scale. But that being said it was a lot of fun and i really like the way it turned out!

And the final Art Fight attack of the year! This time i drew @plebsian 's character Marlynn. I loved her design and backstory so much i just had to draw her. Even though it took around 5 different tries throughout the month to get something that i liked 😅. And because i suck at drawing animal-like designs i decided to go for a mid-transformation snapshot teehee

Another Art Fight attack! This time i attacked @fizzleston ! And of course right AFTER uploading it to art fight i decided to add more detail to it, oh well ~ I'm sure instagram won't make it all pixelated right?.. right?..

Had a lot of fun drawing this one! And man i really want to rewatch The Lighthouse now 😭

Art Fight attack number two! Had to revenge my buddy @tyrell_mothfish after he made some amazing art of my D&D character 💜 So i attack his D&D character in turn! A character which after uploading i learned was.. neutral good aligned and very wholesome.. oops. (Oh well who doesn't love a good villain arc?)

Art Fight time! First up is Varenn who's original design is made by the amazing @artisticfaun !! Their original design was so unique that i immediately fell in love.

They were so much fun to draw and a nice step out of my comfort zone (with the whole 'made out of wood' thing). I planned to start simple with my Art Fight drawings, but well.. You can see how well that went...
