POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

we recently went on a short trip to HCM 🇻🇳 and of course we had to check out the cat supplies store there!

we noticed that unlike other countries we've been to, the pet shops here aren't too big, and mostly stock the basics (read: most stores carry the same brands). however, if you do have time on your hands and would still like to check out some of the stores, here's the list of the ones we visited 🫶🏻

other than the standard brands like RC etc, they mostly carry local/regional brands, most of which are not available directly in Singapore!

save this for the next time you visit HCM to have some yummy coffee 🙂‍↕️❤️🇻🇳

sharing our top pick pet supply stores we discovered on our road trip in Taiwan! On this trip we mainly stayed in Kaohsiung, Taichung and Taipei 😆

Taiwan is so so so pet-friendly it feels like a dream sometimes! We were surprised to see pets in so many malls and restaurants (really hoping we get this in Singapore in the future!)

most of the stores sold the staple canned food and kibbles, known Taiwanese brands and international brands. but we definitely loved looking through special flavours of treats (lobster ciao churu anymeow???) and limited collabs in convenient stores!

share this post with your best friends and save this for your next Taiwan trip 😆🇹🇼

we're back with our travel series and this time we explored Jeju & Seoul ❤️🇰🇷

Jeju is really a cat lovers' haven, everyone loves cats there and the strays are all so well taken care of!
Through the hustling and bustling of Seoul, unmanned stores are super popular for pet owners, convenient and accessible!

Here are some of the pet stores we visited, remember to save this for your next trip to Korea 😆😻

Two cats — two different toothbrushes, two different methods of brushing.

Cotton & Toffee have varied level of tolerance for how we handle them, so we had to make sure that their daily dental care routine is specially catered to their needs 🦷

Toffee has had a history of tartar buildup, at a young age of 1.5yrs old she already went through her first dental scaling procedure. It wasn't ideal to have to put her under GA again but multiple vets have warned that leaving the tartar buildup unmanaged would only lead to worse conditions in the future.

After her procedure in March, we made it a conscious effort to brush her teeth daily, and we're proud to share that even after 7 months, her teeth are still sparkly! She is ok with us carrying her, tugging gently at her mouth area to make sure we can get to the teeth all the way behind. We opted for a regular toothbrush with the tiniest head (for the tiniest baby 🤏🏻)

Cotton had some inflammation in his gums sometime after he first came home, consistent brushing has also brought that down. He doesn't like it when we tug at his mouth area, and he bites HARD (no finger brushing, for hooman safety), so using a 360 brush works really well for him!

To complement the nightly brushing, we also give them some dental treats every day after breakfast!

Dental care is sooooo important for cats, and it's always good to cultivate a habit so that when they really need more care, it's easy for both cat and hooman. Here's to all kitties having sparkly smiles even when they are 20 😸✨

trying new food can be scary at times, we all know how picky our kitties can be... bulk buying before taste tasting? 200% at your own risk 🫪

@orijensingapore made this food trial so easy when they shared all 4 flavours of wet food cans with us! pleasantly surprised how quickly cotton took to the new food, given that he's the strictest wet food connoisseur 🥸🤌🏻

we are super impressed by the ingredients list too, first 5 ingredients are named proteins and broth! (so joosy it's perfect for kitties who are allergic to their water fountains 💦)

get your trial can/dry kibbles today!! https://www.k9artefacts.com/copy-of-dog-trial-bag-wet-food-form

1 year of having our two dearest babies home with us 🫶🏻

dear cotton & toffee

time passed so so so fast this past year that we can't believe it's already been 365 days since the both of you first stepped into your furever home hehe

you've both made home so much more livelier and even the grandpawrents who were initially opposed to pets at home are loving the both of you so much hehe

thank you for showing your love in the many little things you do — rubbing against our legs when we're home, rolling on the floor for sayangs, hopping on the sofa to chill with us, meowing loudly for attention, following us from room to room

here's to many more years and many more memories with the both of you, mama and papa love you both so so so so much ❤️

p.s we are always grateful for @thecommcats for rescuing you two and @spacemunchkin for fostering the both of you with so much love and care ❤️ it's been a year y'all 🥹 taken in Singapore by @coffeethecats
