Brady got a call late Sunday that he was needed in a tournament for his team on Monday and Tuesday. So we did what parents do … we booked a flight for 10 hours later and flew to Indiana for 36 hours to support him.

He did awesome. His best college performance so far. He has a ton of work to do, but the results are showing. He was also able to make birdies in front of his grandmother and grandfather and we got to hang out with Macy and Uncle Larry at a course where Uncle Bill was a member for 40 years. A major bonus, the leaves were beautiful. 🍁 🍂

No more Coffin teens - Brady turns 20 today! We had fun the last few days moving him back into his dorm and we got to spend time with Macy and her family. My kids surprised me with these books where they each wrote 100 things that they love about me. After I opened them they both sat there and read each page. Some of their thoughts were crazy similar, while some were wildly different. And I loved it all. Sweetest. Gift. Ever.

I know it took some time to prep and I’m sure at times it was painful for them to dig deep but I’ll never forget it. Massive shoutout to Sweet Susan for the assist. I’m a lucky man. We played our hearts out and it may be the best I’ve EVER seen Brady play. The old man just happened to be a bit of a load during the final round. Still, it’s our best result in nine years, we qualified for the championship flight and we were one of the best teams there. And I got to spend the weekend with my boy. Never take it for granted. One of my favorite weekends of the year … the Father’s Day Open. It’s hard to keep up with the crazy fits each year but we did our best. Speaking of our best, we shot our best score in nine years of doing this and we’re in the championship flight for the final day. We played great and I’m thrilled. Last full day in Alaska with my people. Went on a glacier and wildlife cruise and saw everything we wanted to see - whales, sea lions, otters, eagles, puffins and glaciers.
