**When should you start planning your wedding stationery?** One of the questions I get asked most often! Here’s my recommended timeline to keep everything on track:

**Save the Dates**
Inquire 10–11 months before your wedding.
Mailed to guests 8–9 months before.

**Wedding Invitations**
Inquire 7–8 months before your wedding.
Mailed to guests 3–4 months before.

**Wedding Day Paper & Signage**
Inquire at least 2 months before your wedding.
Delivered 3–4 weeks before your wedding.

Planning a destination wedding? Add an extra 1–2 months to these timelines.

Hello friends old and new, engaged couples, beloved former clients, wedding planners, fellow vendors, new followers. I’m happy you found your way here. It’s been a while since I came on here and showed my face. I am the owner and designer behind Cojo Moxon Design. What started out as a fun side gig and creative outlet a couple years ago has turned into my full time job. So excited to finally share the wedding stationery I created for S&B’s celebration in Islamorada.

Their wedding weekend kicked off with a welcome party at Cheeca Lodge, and S&B asked me to incorporate monkeys into the design as a playful nod to the venue’s tropical decor. They made an appearance on the welcome party cocktail sign as well as the save-the-date envelope liner.

For the invitation suite, I created a custom watercolor map featuring illustrations of the church where the ceremony took place and Pierre’s, the site of the reception.

A seashell-shaped card held the reply details, and a belly band gathered the full suite together inside a pink envelope bringing a little bit of the Florida Keys into every detail.

For this Florida Keys celebration, every detail was intentionally designed to create an unforgettable guest experience. From the comfort of a fully air-conditioned tent to the tropical-inspired design filled with palms, citrus tones, lanterns, and natural textures, every choice added to the feeling of being transported somewhere special.

Seeing it all come together for S + B’s reveal never gets old. 🌴🌺

Dappled sunlight, vintage garden details, and softly layered elements with a collected feel.

A&D’s invitation suite pairs soft pink and green watercolor with letterpress, curated vintage postage, and a custom hydrangea-shaped card. A glimpse that pulls back the curtain on the flat lay itself: flower cuttings, vintage stamp books, and all the little materials that help bring the story together.

Designing J&J's invitation suite for their wedding at the iconic Versace Mansion was such a special project.

Every detail was thoughtfully chosen to tell their story, from letterpress paired with hand-painted watercolor, to a custom map, a hibiscus-shaped reply card, and an illustration of their beloved pup tucked into the suite. These are the kinds of personal touches that transform an invitation into a keepsake.

Finished with silk ribbon, the suite feels timeless and romantic.

The flowers in this flat lay are leftovers from a Trader Joe’s bouquet from the weekend that I repurposed for invitation photos.

This suite features a letterpress venue illustration, a hand-painted watercolor monogram crest, silk ribbon, a custom wax seal, hand-calligraphed envelopes by @handsomeink, and curated vintage postage.

One of my favorite parts of this job is what happens after the invitations arrive.

My sweet client shared some of the text messages she received from family & friends as they opened their wedding invitations, and reading through them made my day.

Wedding invitations are more than paper. They're the very first glimpse guests get into a couple's celebration, and when they're thoughtfully designed, they become part of the experience itself.

A little behind-the-scenes moment from my studio.

The flowers in this flat lay are actually leftovers from a Trader Joe’s bouquet I picked up over the weekend. Whenever I have fresh blooms around the house, I love giving them a second life in invitation photos.

I’m definitely not a professional photographer, but styling and photographing my couples’ suites is one of my favorite parts of the process. It gives me a chance to slow down and appreciate all of the little details that came together along the way.

This suite features a larger-format invitation with a letterpress-printed venue illustration, paired with a hand-painted watercolor monogram crest. Delicate painted details carry throughout the suite, creating a cohesive heirloom feel from the invitation to the reply card.

Finished with silk ribbon, a custom wax seal, hand-calligraphed envelopes by @handsomeink, and thoughtfully curated vintage postage, every element was chosen to tell a piece of the couple’s story.

Just mailed out these beauties this morning.

For E&T's invitation suite, we paired hand-addressed calligraphy with a carefully curated collection of vintage postage. Every stamp was intentionally selected to reflect pieces of their story, creating an envelope that feels just as meaningful as the invitation inside.

One of my favorite parts of the mailing process is watching each suite come together, from the custom design and printing to the final stamps and hand-canceling at the post office. It's these thoughtful details that transform an invitation into a keepsake.

Now they're on their way to guests' mailboxes, carrying the first glimpse of E&T's wedding day.
