Happy Father’s Day to Me 💙
Today, I celebrate the journey of being a father. Being a dad isn’t always easy, but it’s the greatest blessing God has ever given me. Every sacrifice, every long day, every challenge is worth it when I look at my daughter and see the love, joy, and purpose she brings into my life.
As a single father, I’ve learned strength I never knew I had. I’ve learned that being present, loving unconditionally, and leading by example means more than anything money can buy.
To my daughter, Cali, thank you for making me a better man every day. You are my biggest motivation, my greatest accomplishment, and my reason to keep pushing forward.
Today, I celebrate all the fathers doing their best for their children. Keep showing up, keep loving, and keep being the heroes your kids see you as.

These past couple of weeks have felt so unreal. I’m literally crying as I write this. There is nothing like losing a best friend someone you talk to every single day, someone you can call at any time knowing they’re going to pick up. Somebody’s always gonna have your back, no matter what.
I’ve lost loved ones before, but this one hits different. My heart hurts in a way I can’t even explain. I’m honestly lost for words.
Deotis, I’m going to miss you so much. I’m so thankful God put you in my life. I can’t even imagine life without you. I still find myself going to call you every morning… and then it hits me all over again. To think I can’t talk to you or hug you again feels so unfair.
I have never felt this type of pain before, and I don’t know if I’ll ever truly be okay with this. But I will always carry you with me.
I love you so much. I’m going to miss you forever.
