The formula for net worth is simple:

Everything you own − everything you owe = your net worth

Add up your cash, investments, retirement accounts, home value, and other major assets. Then subtract your mortgage, car loans, credit cards, student loans, and other debt.

Calculate it today and track it over time. The goal is simple: keep moving that number up.
