I’m so beyond excited and grateful to announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic career playing Division 1 softball at the University of Iowa! This has been a dream of mine, and I’m so thankful for everyone who has supported me and helped me get to this point. Dad, thank you for always pushing me to be better and for never saying no when I wanted to go hit, throw, or work on something. You’ve put in so many hours with me and helped make me the player I am today. Mom, thank you for always being my biggest supporter and being there through every game, tournament, long drive, and early morning. Thank you for always believing in me and reminding me to enjoy the journey. I’m also so thankful for all of my teammates and friends who have pushed me, supported me, and made this journey so much fun. I wouldn’t be where I am today without all of the people who have been with me. A huge thank you to Coach Frank, Coach Matt, Coach Travin, Coach Sami and Josh Sanders for always pushing me, believing in me, and helping me grow throughout this journey. And finally, thank you to Coach Stacy, Coach Fran, Coach Miklesh, and Coach Bobby for believing in me and giving me this incredible opportunity. I’m so grateful you chose me to be a part of the Iowa softball family, and I can’t wait to get to work! I’m so excited for what’s ahead and to officially be a Hawkeye! 🖤💛 GO HAWKS! by @colbielequesne
