View from my front yard last night in OB. Hot damn we are spoiled af. Wild to think I’ve been part of this community for over a decade now. First 5 years on the Pescadero Hill and now 6 years and going on corner of Bacon & Saratoga 1 block from the beach and 1 block from Newport ave & Sunset cliffs. Coming from Lowell, MA, I never thought this beach lifestyle was possible. It seemed like an unobtainable goal, but here I am 11 years later still rockin’ it here in OB- place sucked me in snd rooted me down.

I’m currently living with @hames_jickey and we’re looking for a solid 3rd roomie to take over one our bedrooms for $1600/ month + utilities. We keep a clean house and have 2 beautiful/ friendly pups to kick it with - Kelso & Dolly. DM for tour & interview by @coldplunge_papi

Feeling lots of emotions today after announcing this year’s Mizata2Ourselves lineup. It’s been 7 years since the conception of House2Ourselves in San Diego, CA. This iconic party has beautifully transformed into what you see today - @mizata2ourselves. The journey here has seen some of the highest highs hosting a stage on Holyship, to the lowest lows, losing nearly everything we built due to Covid and losing one of our dear friends and core crew members - Scott Christensen. The bounce back was not easy but the motivation to create never stopped and the universe provided. We stumbled upon on a small fishing village on Playa Mizata, El Salvador which is now our home❤️ We are forever grateful for @antiresort welcoming us into their home and letting us manifest our vision. It truly does take a village to turn your dreams into a reality and I couldn’t ask for a better team. See you in paradise February 6th-9th 2025 taken in Playa Mizata, La Libertad by @coldplunge_papi

Its hard to put into words how much this years Mizata2Ourselves meant to me. The journey to this moment has had so many ups, downs, sideways, backs, and forths, but at the end it’s all about the progress we make.

There are so many memories that were created this year, it’s difficult to pick a favorite. However, this moment pictured above hit home for me. I had known of @joshua.host since the beginning but destiny kept us from meeting each other until year 2 of Mizata2Ourselves! All along I knew that our visions would eventually collide. To say we’re excited for the future of @antiresort, @mizata2ourselves , @nawibeachhouse would be an understatement!

A special thank you to @quest.nine for putting the time in during her trip to create this work of art 🙏. To be able to gift this locally inspired painting to Josh and the Antiresort fam was truly a full circle moment. From getting married to my beautiful wife @lanahbean, to hosting Mizata2Ourselves and losing my partner and fellow dreamer, Scott, in between. We had big dreams for this experience and to continue this dream without him is so bitter sweet but absolutely necessary. We knew we had something special from the moment we arrived together on his birthday 2 years ago. The visions started to come to us and turning those visions into a reality was our main focus. Grateful for this life❤️

One week from today I’ll be back sitting on this balcony in Playa Mizata, El Salvador 🤤 I never thought music would lead to the opportunity of co-hosting an international party, but here we are on the verge of #Mizata2Ourselves 🏝️ There are so many emotions attached to this event with the loss of my best friend, brother, and business partner, Scott. This was the last event we got to work together on and it’ll be very bittersweet to be there without him. Mizata2Ourselves is the epitome of what we’ve been working towards. Taking over a resort on a private beach in El Salvador with some of our favorite artists from around the world playing music for all of our friends; it was truly a dream come true. I’ll be honest, I wanted to quit after he passed and cancel Mizata2Ourselves. But with the support from my wife & friends and specifically @_devonjames because without him, there was no way to pull off the logistics and finances to make this wildly outlandish event happen. It’s impossible to be in over your head when you have the right team to bring you up🙏❤️ by @coldplunge_papi
