Our Grand Opening was about so much more than opening the doors to Planet Smoothie.🥤 It was about celebrating community, recognizing impact, and pouring back into the people and organizations who make a difference. During our Grand Opening celebration, we had the privilege of giving $5,000 back to the community through five $1,000 awards — recognizing academic excellence, employee leadership and legacy, community service, nonprofit impact, and a deserving local family. Yes, we’re here to serve smoothies and sweet treats — but we’re also here to serve our community, create opportunities, recognize people doing meaningful work, and make an impact beyond our four walls. To each of our honorees: thank you for the impact you make. It was our privilege to celebrate YOU. And to everyone who continues to support Cold Stone Creamery & Planet Smoothie Union — your support allows us to keep doing more than business and for that we thank you. #PlanetSmoothieUnion #ColdStoneUnion #CommunityImpact #UnionNJ taken in Vermella Union by @coldstoneunion

After more than two years of planning, patience, perseverance, pivots, and trusting the process, we officially celebrated the Grand Opening of Planet Smoothie and the 5-Year Anniversary of Cold Stone Creamery in Union, NJ. We are incredibly grateful for everyone who came out to celebrate with us! Thank you to Senator Joseph Cryan, Mayor Patricia Guerra-Frazier, the Union Chamber of Commerce, our elected officials, community leaders, family, friends, customers, and supporters who helped make the day so special. One of the most meaningful moments was being able to give back. During our celebration, we awarded $5,000 to 5 deserving recipients, reinforcing our belief that business should not only create opportunity, but also create impact. To everyone who has supported ColdStone Creamery over the past five years and to those who will walk through our doors for the very first time for Planet Smoothie—thank you! We do not take your support for granted. We are excited about this new chapter, the relationships we will build, the opportunities ahead, and what the next five years and beyond will hold. Here’s to growth, community, intentionality, milestone celebrations and new beginnings! 🍦❤️ WE ARE 100% BACK! ❤️🍦 To our Cold Stone family and community, we want to start with a sincere apology and an even bigger THANK YOU. Due to an unexpected equipment failure, we have not been able to operate at 100% capacity over the last month which meant we couldn’t provide the full chop-and-fold Cold Stone experience that you know and love. We know that when you come to Cold Stone, you expect the full experience—and we appreciate the grace, patience, and understanding you’ve shown us while we worked extremely hard to get things back up and running. We are EXTREMELY happy to officially say… 🎉 WE ARE 100% BACK! 🎉 Our equipment is working, the stone is cold, and we’re ready to chop, fold, mix, and create again! 🍦🙌🏾 Owning and operating a business comes with unexpected challenges, and this past month was certainly one of them. But through it all, we’ve been reminded just how grateful we are for the community that continues to support us. Thank you for your extended grace. Thank you for your patience. And most importantly, thank you for continuing to choose us. ❤️ We look forward to continuing to be your favorite local creameries—and we can’t wait to welcome you back as we close out the summer together! ☀️🍦 The stone is cold. The mix-ins are ready. We’ll see you soon! ❤️ taken in Cold Stone Creamery by @coldstoneunion

TODAY IS THE DAY. 💚🍦✨🥤 Today is what intentionality looks like. Today is what happens when a vision moves from a thought… to a plan… to years of work… and finally to reality. Today is dedication being illustrated. Not just hard work, but hard work plus patience. Today is resilience. Today is trusting the process. More than two years ago, Planet Smoothie was simply an idea. An opportunity. A possibility. Today, we officially open our doors and welcome a new chapter. Over these last several years, Jimmy and I have continued to build together, dream together, navigate challenges together, and trust God together. While I’ve often worked behind the scenes as a silent partner, this season is calling me into greater visibility, and I’m excited to embrace it. As we celebrate the Grand Opening of Planet Smoothie and the 5-Year Anniversary of Cold Stone Creamery, I find myself reflecting on just how much growth can happen when you stay committed to the vision, even when progress feels slow. Today is about more than a business. It’s about family. It’s about faith. It’s about community. It’s about believing that what God places in your heart is worth pursuing, even when the path isn’t always clear. As we step into these new beginnings, I look forward to growth. I look forward to elevation. I look forward to evolution. I look forward to strengthening our bond as a married couple of 10 years and as partners in the work God has called us to do. Most importantly, I look forward to continuing to pour back into the community that has supported us, encouraged us, and shown up for us throughout this journey. To every customer, family member, friend, team member, mentor, community partner, and supporter—thank you. Thank you for your love. Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for your encouragement. Thank you for believing in us. The last five years have been incredible, but I truly believe we’re just getting started. Here’s to new beginnings. Here’s to community. Here’s to impact. And here’s to the next five years and beyond. With gratitude,
