The Winthrop Trilogy - Part Three:

Life is a journey of self-discovery and growth, where each individual walks a path shaped by their unique experiences, challenges, and opportunities. Your environment plays a crucial role, as every interaction either propels you forward or holds you back. Surrounding yourself with people who believe in your dreams is an act of self-care. Let your determination and hard work pave the way to success.

Pain is an inevitable part of growth, and it’s through these struggles that we learn the most about who we are and what we’re capable of. Embrace the discomfort, welcome it as a friend. Discomfort, though unwelcome, sharpens your awareness of what truly matters. It forces you to pause, reflect, and realign. Each setback offers a chance to grow stronger, each obstacle an opportunity to build resilience. True success isn’t found in avoiding pain, but in facing it head-on and using it as a stepping stone toward your goals. Ultimately, it’s not just about reaching the destination but about who you become along the way.

These are just some of the many lessons that I’ve learned in the past 3.5 years. Thank you Winthrop. For being the greatest decision that I have made in my life so far. by @cole.bienish

The Winthrop Trilogy - Part Two:

I never thought I would join a fraternity when I got to Winthrop. It honestly wasn’t even a thought in my head. The stigmas that surrounded the idea of “frats” was discomforting. But something was different about these guys. When I joined this organization, I told myself “I can drop at anytime”. Turns out joining the Epsilon Eta chapter of Pi Kappa Phi has been one of the greatest decisions I have made in my life so far. The opportunities, leadership, friends, and even brothers are just some of the amazing aspects I took away from this experience. All to say, is that you should do things out of your comfort zone. There is no true growth in being comfortable all the time. You will never succeed if you don’t take risks and most of life is just showing up. You will never know what opportunities will come your way if you don’t. Which is why I’m happy to say, though my time with Epsilon Eta has come to a close, I will be continuing my journey with the Greater Fraternity of Pi Kappa Phi as a Leadership Consultant. The Winthrop Trilogy - Part One:

I don’t even know where to begin with these guys. What a weird little group…club, if I may. They say the people in your life shape who you become. From orientation to the “Sup” trilogy of presentations to Graduation Day. I know these guys will always have my back and be by my side. I am glad to say I will always be their biggest supporters, on and off the field. They have been the best part of my Winthrop experience and I am grateful I get to call them my friends.
