To live sent is to carry the weight of the gospel. To take up your cross is to put on the truth of the gospel.

The way, and the truth, and the life. The gospel is more than a story-it is the hope for the lost, the light in the darkness. It is the solution. There is liberating, healing power in the gospel.

There is a desperation in the hearts of those who have not heard. There is a longing in the cry of those in need of a savior. The gospel is the answer. The gospel is the invitation to freedom!

If missions have taught me anything over the last four years, it is that there are love sick people in need of hearing the gospel. There are broken people who haven’t heard the good news. Living life on mission is a pursuit of the gospel; fighting for the love of Jesus to be received. This is the reason.
This is my why.

Ghana holds such a special place in my heart and I would love to tell you more about my trip and our time during ministry- so please don’t hesitate to reach out! taken in Ghana by @cole.jacques11

January,

A month of restoration, revitalization-being able to see the Lord’s goodness on display. The sweetest part of this life is the little imprints of the Lord’s love that can be found even in the mundane moments. A month of abiding in the presence of the most high.

This month marks the beginning of a new year, new lessons, new opportunities, and especially new perspectives. I’ve taken a step back from this platform and I’ve begun to see the intentionality of the Lord in not only his creation but little bits of life- in new friendships, new seasons, and even interactions. The love of the omnipotent God is everywhere, sometimes we just have to look for it!

This month has revealed to me more than ever the need to sit at the feet of Jesus. No matter what direction life is taking you, when we abide in the vine we cannot be shaken. In unseen circumstances, through tribulations, staying at the feet of Jesus- marveling over his glory- is the only firm foundation.

Thank you January. by @cole.jacques11

Zambia Reflections🇿🇲

It has been one week since we’ve come home, and I am just undone by the lord! Through this week of processing, the lord has revealed and highlighted to me so much. I just continue to be amazed by just the fullness of God! Every time I try to grasp the fullness of his presence, he continues to blow my mind! I can truly say that I have tasted and seen that the Lord is good!

“For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.”

Zambia!🇿🇲

He restores, he redeems, he delivers and he sets free! We serve a God who is alive and active, he is still healing and providing!

The lord has taught me so much over the time span of only a month- The true love of the father, how to be broken before him, and so much more. I would love to tell you all about it so please ask me!

“And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ”
