June was a busy month for me and I didn’t get as much reading done as I’d have liked. I also really felt the reading slump after finishing the first law trilogy. And if I’m being honest, the wheel of time just doesn’t grip me like I want it to. I’m gonna finish it, but not as fast as I originally intended. Anyways I hope you like Hot Mulligan. by @coleconsumes

May was a great month of reading in the busiest time of my life. But thanks to @sigils @mattdinniman @literarysewer had some fire reads. by @coleconsumes

@sigils does it again. Cold Wind continues the story where Ironbound left off and expands on the universe massively. I am so impressed with Andrew Givler’s ability at writing this style of fantasy. by @coleconsumes

I finished King of Ashes by S.A. Cosby this week and I’ve been ruminating on the themes in this book and how it applies to my life. This is the second S.A. Cosby book l’ve read and he continues to astound me with his ability to write complex characters and interweave a story that is both grounded in reality and unlike anything else in this space. Over the next week or so I’m going to trickle in takeaways from this book leading to my full review as I digest it some more. #sacosby #kingofashes #BookTok #lastnownext by @coleconsumes

Recursion is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 star read for me. Seriously if you haven’t read any Blake Crouch go check him out. He’s so talented. by @coleconsumes

For those who have read The Shadow Rising, what’d you think of it? by @coleconsumes

Just some quick morning coffee thoughts on why I think so many people read. What do you think? by @coleconsumes

Sound off in the comments and treat me like a sim in real life. You get to choose my next book series in between books of The Wheel of Time! by @coleconsumes

The Poppy War is grounded realistic take on the horrors of war, child soldiers, and Asian culture at the turning of the century. It takes place in a fictional land with fantastical elements but it mirrors the real life war stories of that age. Overall I give this trilogy a 4.25⭐️ where for me it’s biggest flaw was Rin the main character. She’s not a bad character, she’s just so flawed and never really learns her lessons no matter how bad things get for her. Have you read it? What did you think? by @coleconsumes

Andy Weir is a gem of an author. And with Project Hail Mary coming out this week I felt it was absolutely necessary to read/listen to The Martian, Artemis, and reread Project Haio Mary. by @coleconsumes

Project Hail Mary is 5⭐️ go see it by @coleconsumes
