Today we launched an AI education program for retailers. RETAIL READY. Each week we will be sharing practical tips to solve everyday challenges retailers are facing. Our goal: keep it simple. Tackle one key challenge. Share how to use AI tools. Save time. I had tremendous help from the @dallasmarket team and my co-leaders Alison Dodson and Trudi Bartow. Follow DMC’s socials to learn more and get ready for webinars and January Market activations too. Let’s Go! taken in Dallas Market Center by @coledallas

Amazing day at the annual Don King Days celebrating horsemanship and sports including polo, roping, and riding. All held in a massive open field under the Big Horn mountains. A celebration of the living heritage of the American West I was so proud to see. taken in Sheridan, Wyoming by @coledallas

When in Cody…
I’ve always wanted to visit Cody for the museums. The Plains Indian Museum was outstanding. The Buffalo Bill Cody Museum was a great glimpse at the showman. The Western Art Museum was a sweeping selection across generations. All in all a great day. Got in some afternoon shopping and we are off to Sheridan tomorrow. taken in Cody, Wyoming by @coledallas

Journey into a volcano.
The Valles Caldera is a dramatic park nested inside the Jemez Mountains yet only 90 min from Santa Fe to the entrance. When I first started coming up here it was a private ranch. Today its expanse was a full day adventure. Arrival is dramatic — a huge meadow miles across. Even at the entrance gate my journey took me another hour inside to the back country. Along a quiet road I drove. And drove. Arrived at the San Antonio Creek, and as expected it was narrow meadow fishing. Very narrow. After two hours with one rig I made a change that made all the difference and suddenly I was catching fish. And missing strikes. Fished from 9-2 then back to Sante Fe for enchiladas. A great day in a special place. taken in Valles Caldera National Preserve by @coledallas

Off track toward Santa Fe.
Traveled today down the High Road to Taos then through Dixon to explore a small stream I had heard about that winds through a “box” or canyon on its way to the Rio Grande. This is the road near the trailhead which was the start of a half mile hike to the stream. I geared up and started climbing. And scrambling. And slipping. And sweating. It became very clear that this was going to be a difficult track up and down. With no cell service. So I abandoned it then drove a different route to find the stream—which was running too low for decent fishing. A good diversion. taken in Dixon, New Mexico by @coledallas

New Mexico. I arrived yesterday via Lubbock, and it takes about 48 hours to settle in and start to relax. Fishing a stream. Hiking. Piñon air. Red chilé. Open windows. Elk. Hummingbirds. Quaking aspen. 49 degree mornings. Afternoon rains. The blood pressure drops. Time stretches out. by @coledallas

My AI Journey: Cowork Changed How I Think About AI (again)

I can see that Claude Cowork is a game changer. Now, I don’t mean I’m automating projects (yet). But I can see the big benefits of this next step.
This isn’t chatting. It’s project management. Instead of asking questions back-and-forth, I explain what I want done—and it offers a solution. Not a suggestion. A framework. A workflow. A tool ready to use.
That shift changed everything for me. In the past week alone, after taking the Anthropic course, I’ve used Cowork to:
✓ Build a prospecting framework from scratch
✓ Visualize project workflows so teams see the full picture
✓ Create a synthesis tool that pulls project input from across the company
✓ Generate custom marketing briefs that actually fit our needs
The difference between “Can you help me brainstorm?” and “Here’s what we need—build me a tool” is the difference between conversation and creation. If you’re still thinking of AI as a research assistant or a writing tool, you’re leaving something on the table. The real shift happens when you treat it like a team member who builds. Have you started using Cowork? What’s one project workflow or internal tool you’d build if you had extra bandwidth? taken in Dallas Market Center by @coledallas

Six firms. One marketplace. A year of ideas.

Introducing our inaugural class of Design Ambassadors, a handpicked group of top design firms doing what great designers do best: asking better questions, finding unexpected answers, and bringing the rest of us along for the journey inside Dallas Market Center.

Expect fresh perspectives inside our showrooms, spirited conversations at our events, and the kind of inspiration that only happens when top talent is given the space to create together.
