To remember the “before” when I used to walk these streets of Baldwinsville newly sober, almost 30, no license, feeling the rock bottom of life + only dreaming of a future that is now my reality 💭

And to now be on the other side of the “after”,
Enjoying this moment with my son,
there are no words but “Thank God” 🙏🌻🐝

He has done the unimaginable.

DAY ONE : I’m over the moon to be putting up a street mural in the town of Baldwinsville, NY 🙌💫

This sweet little town where is where I first found my love for painting when I was trying to get my life back on track after rehab.

I used to walk these streets when I had no license, dream big about all of life’s endless possibilities + now I get to leave a part of that dream for all to see .. someone pinch me!

This full circle moment is such an incredible feeling 💖

If you’re in a hard spot in life,
don’t give up, keep pushing!
You never know where God is bringing you 💯

You were just a figment of my imagination when I created this mural @oliveseatery 💭

I was 39 years old + I didn’t know if I would ever get married or become a mom…
but the next month after I finished this mural,
I was sitting in my living room + I gently heard God whisper “between 40-42 it will happen”.

That same month I turned 40,
I met your father a month after my birthday,
was married the day before you were born,
had you at 41 + now I’m pregnant at 42 with your sibling.

Today was a full circle moment seeing you sit in front of my mural at Olive’s… and it was a gentle reminder that God is never late, but always on time 🎯

The original business I painted Rosa for has closed + I always wondered if the new building owner would keep her shining or just paint over her …

yesterday I drove by + my heart began to beam as I started to see my girl from the distance.

Rosa is my first exterior mural 🌸
Painted in Aug 2020

She taught me a lot about the mural process + helped me to get comfortable with painting on brick surface.
