Today we observe Good Friday. The day our Lord who “though He was in the form of God, did not count equality with God as something to be grasped… humbled Himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.” Our own Coleman Colvin leads us in remembering Christ’s sacrifice in this special music video. taken in First Bossier by @colemancolvin

Our team arranged this to start off our Christmas Eve service with. Long story short, the Lord had different plans for us that night, but I thought it would be fun to share the reference demo the team used for prep. @geofbarkley slayed the strings and pads. “Here I Am to Worship” is one of those all-time worship songs that really marked me, and I think it perfectly centers me around the message of Christmas. Be blessed!

I miss drums. I miss it so much that I will record drums for your songs for next to nothing. Message me and let’s work something out. Also, hit me up if you need a place to record your music. 🤘🏻

Also, here’s some goofy drumming faces free of charge. 🥴 by @colemancolvin

I hope to release more music in 2022 so be on the lookout.

Also, it is a great time of year to listen to my song ‘Emmanuel’ that is about to cross 1,000 streams. Check it out at the link in my bio. by @colemancolvin

I have been off the socials again for a few weeks now and I’m not planning to come back, at least not in the way I used it before. But I do want to hop on once a month or so and share how the Lord has been working in me and teaching me. So here’s a little January update:

I and some friends are starting a little project called Capstone Worship Collective. More info on that very soon.

We hosted a conference @firstbossier for young adults called Movement Conference. Several folks accepted Christ for the first time 🙌🏻 and others made decisions for Christ. Several speakers and worship artists were involved and it was such a blast to help organize it. Capstone WC made its debut in a session that I led worship for, and also got to back up @mackbrock and serve as his house band in the final session. It was a huge blessing and really, really fun.

I played more drums this month than most of last year so that’s a huge win. Praise God. I miss it so much.

I’m back for my second semester of school online @libertyuniversity and I’m already learning a lot. Very thankful just for the opportunity to learn.

My kids are growing and healthy and we found out we can mark one food off of a shrinking list of Ada’s allergies. We also found out that Ada won’t need eye surgery 🙌🏻 and that her eyes are correcting themselves how they should. We are potty training her now so pray for us.

This past weekend was our @firststudentsfb Engage Weekend. I got to lead worship with Capstone for it and it was such an honor and a blast to watch our students connect with God. To end out the weekend, @leelandofficial led us in an epic night of worship. They have been an influence on me since the beginning of my music/worship journey so it was so amazing to get to connect with them and so inspiring to get to sit back and worship as they led. I can’t wait to get them back to Bossier.

@mollymcolvin took care of our kids — one potty training 2.5 y/o and one 2 month old 🥴😵 while I went off and did all this. There is no one like her.

I played my first couple rounds of disc golf and now I’m going pro.

Today I turned 27.

I’ll be back on here at some point. See y’all then. taken in Bossier City, Louisiana by @colemancolvin
