POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Dear Dad,

Never did I think I’d be writing this at 20 years old but here we are. The easy question would be “why?”, but you never told me to take the easy way out. You told me to take challenges head on and always keep my chin up. Grief is an interesting thing because it’s just love without a place to go. This only hurts so much because our relationship was so darn great. I consider myself the most blessed man on the planet to call you my dad (or “bro” as we always did). You always preached being humble to me but one thing I will always take pride in and brag about is being able to be called your son. You certainly were never ashamed to be my dad from screaming in the stands (slide 7), to posting online, to updating whoever was around about me. You pushed me to the best in every aspect of my life. The best brother, son, competitor, teammate, friend, student, and one day husband and father. I’d be lucky to be half the man (or “warrior” as you’d say) you were dad.

I can count on one hand the number of games or events you missed throughout my life dad. And I don’t think you ever fully understood what that meant to me because that was a no brainer for you. You’d leave work early (even if they told you no), you’d rearrange appointments, you’d come after chemo, you’d use all your vacation time to drive 18 hours to Alabama or Florida or wherever the tournaments took us (Sometimes out into a tornado in Iowa). You showed me what the power of presence is dad and it’s something I will carry forever. Since I was young you’d shoot hoops with me, race hot wheels, play catch with me, blast “All the Way Up” or “Hustlin’” in the car, watch the Pirates or Steelers disappoint us once again, and so much more I could talk about for hours and will to anyone who will listen.

I am who I am today dad largely because of you and what an honor that is. Everyone I meet, meets you through me. I’ll always smile when I hear “Fletch” from my friends or “little Fletch” from yours. I wish I could have many more years with you dad but I don’t feel cheated because you filled the 20 years I got with you with so many memories, so much laughter, and endless evident love. I’ll see you soon Dad❤️ by @colemanfletch

Fishes and Loaves.

This past month, I brought what I had to Michigan with me in hopes the Lord could use it. And He did. Truly humbled to work alongside so many great people and have a blast doing it. It’s beautiful that though God could do it Himself, He allows us, in all our imperfection, to partner with Him in the works of the kingdom. taken in Mears, Michigan by @colemanfletch

I am blessed to announce my commitment to PennWest California. I want to first thank God, without him none of this would be possible. Next, my mom and dad for sacrificing so much to put me in this position. Lastly, all my coaches and teammates for helping me become the player I am today. Go Vulcans! by @colemanfletch
