This is a set! Fabric from @fabricsandfabrics It was very hard to conceive of what to do to keep this print intact 🌞and in fact, at first, I made a dress and I had to keep them apart because it just didn’t work. Luckily I could salvage enough for a set drafted top and skirt.

I am obviously late on the #sewover50 #pantonecoloroftheyear challenge but happy 8 years! Thank you for all you do to find us! It had to be red for me… even more so in the time of grayification, although I love all colors 🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🖤💖

I can’t remember if I have posted all of these before, but it is a hacked Friday patterns ilford (def posted) and a self drafted skirt in a poplin from @britexfabrics and a Tilly in the buttons puff sleeve shirt with French Terry from @harts_fabric

I went to the moma in sf in #memades from favorite fabric 🌹🪻🌺🌷and we couldn’t count all the times I got to say, thanks I made it. Sew many! Sew much fun. 🤩 This is a #tntpattern the crescent skirt in linen from @harts_fabric and a light blue layer of poplin under the entire skirt… I even gathered it in for some true structure since the flower poplin is light. Two layers of gathered fabric almost to the floor, and it’s a very heavy skirt and feels sort of delightfully grand to wear. I’ve posted it before on a trip to nyc and I have mooooore of this fabric so a dress is next. The red brocade jacket is an @fridaypatterncompany #ilfordjacket also posted before with linings and such but this was just a celebration quick shot with light exhibit plus the green wall for most colorful memade wearing museum day! by @colette_sews

High summer dress time! And this was actually a me made May post but I got a little bit less quick on posting toward the end of the challenge, although it was very inspiring to see y’all‘s posts! 🌼🌻🌞🌈🩷🩵🦋Vogue Rachael Comey in a linen from @harts_fabric ✂️ definitely took me quite a while to find the right pattern for this fabric. I think I’ve held onto it for two or three years! Harts fabric store knows!

This is the #roscoedress from true bias in @spoonflower Fragonard printed linen that I made for the reopening of the frick museum (lots of Fragonards there). The print repeat fit perfectly on each sleeve, around the frill and the front. Such a comfy dress to wear. And little orange Dolores! by @colette_sews

#memademay #voguepatterns in the manner of the best Harts posts here at Harts in the Rachel Comey design pattern in Japanese cotton. it was a really fun pattern to make, and I did have to make several because I do think it’s the perfect summer uniform.

@puff_and_pencil skirt in @britexfabrics

I enjoyed the order of operations from puff and pencil ✏️ so much and this was my wearable toile for the printed wool one posted a while back. I like that it’s a rare low waistband and a mitered corner…

Dolores really loves to chew a nice skirt tie!
