3:25 at the Boston Marathon. Goal was 3:30.

But this was bigger than a marathon.

This was about challenging myself harder than I ever have before. Beating the odds stacked against me. And yeah… beating my dad’s time of 3:30.

A year ago, after donating part of my liver to my dad, I didn’t know what my body would be capable of again. There were real moments of doubt—wondering how long it would take to feel like myself, or if I’d ever get back to this level.

The road back wasn’t linear. It was patience. Rebuilding. Early mornings, long runs, setbacks, and small wins that didn’t always show up on paper—but mattered just as much.

Today is a reminder that we’re capable of more than we think… especially when it’s fueled by love, purpose, and the people who won’t let you quit on yourself.

Every mile carried something deeper. Gratitude. Perspective. A reminder of why I started—and who I was running for.

To my family: thank you for the love, the support, and the toughness. You never let me take the easy way out. That balance of love and tough love carried me through.

To my friends: thank you for showing up and reminding me I was never doing this alone.

To my running community: I didn’t realize how special this was until I was in it. The way everyone pushes each other and shows up… it’s real. And it made all the difference.

And to my parents: everything I am, everything I fight for, starts with you. Your strength, your sacrifices, your love—that’s what carried me to the finish line.
