Track 26.

Where do I even begin, I want to thank my coaches and my family because without them I wouldn’t be in this situation. This year has been full of ups and downs, records and heartbreak, coming into this season my goal was to be a team that everyone wanted to watch, someone that would be remembered, to be able to walk into the track and know what the outcome was going to be. This year I acceded that goal. Being the First Ever male state champ at southeast valley is such an honor, if you would’ve told me at the beginning of this year, that I would be a state champ, I would probably laugh at you, the goal was 4 medals, I didn’t get that. But what I did get is 3 medals that I will never forget, this season has been so much fun. To my shuttle team, I’m gonna miss the hell outa our mobility drills before hurdling those are the most fun moments I have ever had in track.
- Thank You Southeast Valley Track
- 9 School Records
- 1st state champ
- 7 time state qualifier
- 5 time TLC Champ

Drake / prom 26…….

This weekend will live forget in my heart for one of the hardest things that someone can go through, be able to have the honor of running at the Drake relays, being a the first hurdle even in our schools history to run at the relays, means the world to me. But on that day, god had a different plan, I believe that everything happens for a reason, no matter what or who it happens to. My grandma was such a loving and caring person, she loved to come watch all of us grandkids do what we loved, seeing her in the stands watching and always rooting for me will be one of my best memories, being able to walk to the stands after a good or a bad game, match, my races in track. Always supporting me and my team, didn’t matter with we won or we lost, she was there watching, doing what she loved. To not be able to see her in the stands watching will now always hurt, but I feel she is in a better place, now she gets the best seat in the house, god has a plan for everyone in this world. For this to happen on this weekend, really hurts me. But life has to keep moving on, she will always have my back no matter what or where I am in life, she will always be with me. To everyone that has reached out, I really appreciate it all, I don’t know how I’d be doing with out all of you, the hugs and always being there for me If I need to talk. Thank you, you never want to lose someone that you love in cherish in your life, never take it for granted. I love you grandma. by @colin_johnson08
