Let the art change you.
Let it crack you open.
A sacred ache of a constant choosing.
Hold the vision until it has no choice but to come to fruition.
Collaborate with people who free you. Free eachother.
Let the story tell you what it is, even after you’re done writing it.
Trust your team.
Create worlds so intense they change you.
Allow yourself to be seen in process.
Treat your visions like memories from the future, because they are.
Honor the depth of the work, and thank it over and over and over.
Love the hell out of every single part.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the intense, beautiful, potent mosaic of this film. 32k raised. We surpassed our goal in under 2 months of fundraising. Don’t let anyone tell you what’s possible. My hearts capacity has tripled in size. And we’re just getting started.

Next stop: post production.
Then…. Full feature ❤️‍🔥
Let’s fuckin go. 💫 taken in Joshua Tree, California by @colinecmoretz

We did it, and we did it our way. This shoot has taught me that the age old adage “do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life” is not only true but essential. Like butterflies from a cocoon, we stepped into newer, stronger, more aligned versions of ourselves ready to spread our wings and float upon the wake of our creation. I’ve never been more proud of us, of myself. From our incredible cast, to our absolutely A class crew, the past few days were a labor of love, attention, and collaboration that has left me in awe of what can be built when you allow charm to lead the way. To those living in fear or doubt of their own creative power, all I say is lean in, do the work, trust yourself, and bend reality to your will. The universe is ready for it. The universe is you. “Be bold and mighty forces shall come to your aid.”

Just a little tiny taste from our location scouting & blocking in Joshua Tree yesterday 🌵 shown here is the physical embodiment of the mind meld Colin and I are almost always locked into together, a giggly mid blocking shot, and me earnestly pretending to be a tripod. 👼🏻 We are still seeking donations and all contributions are tax deductible.
