Well I guess that’s the end of my last Cross Season. It’s been a crazy journey with a constantly evolving group. Yet through it all there are names and faces I will always remember: Cash, Caden, Dominic, Grant, Mason, Maddox, Schaefer, Preston, Eli, Romeo. You guys are brothers to me, and I wouldn’t have made it through these years with anyone else.
And to my sisters: Yaya, Liza, Alexis, Dani, you’ve made this experience more fun with every moment you were in it.

A little over a month ago, I quit Instagram, Snapchat, and a few other social media platforms. It was a chance to get away, to find myself, and grow closer to god. Through this process I found something I never imagined- I grew closer to people than ever before. Before, every interaction was transactional, it was convenient. I had to look for ways and reasons to reach out and because of that I fostered deeper connections with close and surface level friends alike. This is something I highly recommend everyone to do at least once in their lives, as it taught me so much about myself and others even more than my fast last March.
