I really can’t believe it..

52 songs.. built from the ground up, perfected, and released all in a year’s time.

Not here to flex and say “who working like us” or anything of the sort. More than anything, I’m incredibly proud of the two of us for having the dedication, patience, and drive to get this sort of thing done, and done right.

To completely understand the scope of what it took to do this, every beat was first produced from the ground up. After that, the beats needed to be mastered. Next, the vocals needed to be written, recorded, and comped. After this, I took the tracks and I mixed and mastered the vocals to get them ready for release.

On average, every song took between 8-10 hours from conception to completion.. that’s between 416 and 520 hours dedicated to this (and that is most likely on the low end).

With all this being said, it would mean the absolute most to us if you would just give us a listen or two, or three! We really poured our heart, soul, blood, sweat, and tears into this, and I think you’ll be able to hear that in the music.

@thediwansmith thank you for having faith in my ability brotha, we’re in this 4L and I wouldn’t want it any other way. You’re a fantastic musician and the world will recognize that someday soon..⌛️

@puso82.3fm thank you for being one of the first to really reach out and support what we do. Thank you for all the times you’ve spun our music on your show and thank you for believing in us!🙏🏼

We’ll be silent for a while now.. but trust that we are always working. For now though, run these songs up! Here’s to the future 🥂 taken in Saint Paul, Minnesota by @colinmakesbeats

Layla Elizabeth-Ann Bergthold 🐐

Born 2:19am October 14th, 2021
6lb 14oz
20 1/4 in

Carolyn ended up laboring for 18 hours, but for the last 7-8 hours, she was stuck at 4cm and wasn’t progressing. That’s when her doctors decided to go through with a C-section. The surgery went great and we’re blessed to say we have a perfectly healthy baby girl 🥰 She has been sleeping well, and everything has been great!

HUGE THANK YOU to the Nurses, Doctors, and all the other hospital staff at Saint John’s! Everyone has been amazing 🙏🏼

For those of you that will want to come and meet Layla, contact Carolyn or myself and we can set up a time!

Much love and thank you to everyone that has shown support!❤️
