3D renderings are an incredible tool for selling a project and helping clients visualize the space.

The real value is in the planning. Accurate measurements, elevations, drainage, material quantities, and all the little details that actually make a project buildable.

Working with both small and large landscape firms that are extremely successful, one thing I’ve noticed is that the best salespeople are great at asking questions rather than explaining things.

It’s so important to qualify your leads before putting boots on the ground, especially during the busy season.

I see so many contractors putting boots on the ground for just about anybody who calls their business, and it ultimately costs them time and money.

If we can do a better job of prequalifying on that initial phone call, we can make sure we’re spending our time with the clients who are actually the best fit for our business. by @colinslota
