COLLABFEST FEATURE: MONA πŸ’πŸŒˆβ˜„οΈ While I don’t make my own music (yet!) I love writing lyrics, poems, and musical improv. I’ve primarily been a performer since I was 12 years old. I like to say β€œmultifaceted” because it’s true! I’ve dipped my toe into just about everything. Most recently I directed β€œUn Inizio Nuovo” (A New Beginning) at the last β€œHistory in Motion” presented by the Rotary Club in Lincoln. I’ve also been exploring Drag! As a GenderFluid performer, this is where I feel most exhilarated! And I have a sickening set lined up! I LOVE the idea of COLLABFEST as in the few years, despite having moved to Toronto in 2019, I’ve reconnected to my roots in Niagara. I have met many of the artists in COLLABFEST over the last few years. I was first introduced to @sunshinesexpress who quickly welcomed me into the scene. I was first brought on tour as a β€œHype Man” and the rest was history. I’ve now made so many connections and real friendships through the music scene in Niagara. COLLABFEST is important to me because in a western isolationist world we are choosing to create community. I’ve always been of the strong belief that art is for the people. We can’t have community without art. We can’t have art without community. Real art, real music, together! No AI (because FUCK that) I can’t wait to bring all of this talent together and to make new meaningful connections. @emilymona.etc --- COLLABFEST 🀼 Presented by @sunshinesexpress Sunday October 18 12PM-11PM @niagaraartistscentre by @collabfest_
COLLABFEST ARTIST: CROSS REFERENCED πŸŒŸπŸ’Œ Hey! We are cross referenced, an Indie/pop band from St. Catharines. For us music started as a way of expression and a form of therapy, and we are so excited to share our music and hopefully reach those who might need to hear it. We are so excited to be in COLLABFEST and even more excited that we get to make our debut performance with so many great artists! Although we currently have no music out yet, you can find us on instagram @the_crossreferenced. --- COLLABFEST 🫯 Presented by @sunshinesexpress Sunday October 18 12PM-11PM @niagaraartistscentre by @collabfest_
COLLABFEST ARTIST: DHATURA πŸ•ŠοΈπŸŒŒπŸͺ· Where feelings are something to only be felt, Dhatura offers an attempt at narrating the hard-to-describe. Dhatura is a shoegaze outfit from the vibrant city of St. Catharines, ON. Small to some, big to others, the music matters just as much as the energy you meet it with. Dhatura will be joining literal blood brothers of the same Mother, but brothers to us of another, under their warm guise, β€˜mitten’ in communion to perform a special joint collaborative live set. Come take a peek inside our hearts dream - we are ready for you. @ya_dhat_way --- COLLABFEST 🀼 Presented by @sunshinesexpress Sunday October 18 12PM-11PM @niagaraartistscentre by @collabfest_

Playing together since 2020, the two-piece delivers a diverse, ever-metamorphosing sound rooted in radical authenticity and self-expression. Heavily inspired by the boundary-pushing artistry of Fiona Apple, Bikini Kill, Patti Smith, and PJ Harvey, love, lucinda crafts a heartfelt sonic experience that is both personal and loud. @1adybug1ady --- COLLABFEST 🀼 Presented by @sunshinesexpress Sunday October 18 12PM-11PM @niagaraartistscentre by @collabfest_

COLLABFEST ARTIST: KURT & LUKE of THE FERNS πŸͺ΄πŸ—―οΈπŸŒžπŸŽ† Kurt & Luke of The Ferns wish to bring their short, catchy, toe-tapping, and driving songs to Collab Fest. Hot off the heels of their NEW EP β€œTime Has Passed”, Kurt & Luke have a batch of BRAND NEW NEVER-BEFORE HEARD MATERIAL to share! Since The Ferns believe that collaboration is the key to working together, and as these songs are still in a semi-embryonic state, they would be happy to collab with any other singer-songwriters/musicians/artists present who wish to add their touch to these fledgling tunes. @theferns94 --- COLLABFEST 🀼 Presented by @sunshinesexpress Sunday October 18 12PM-11PM @niagaraartistscentre by @collabfest_

COLLABFEST ARTIST: SUNSHINE EXPRESSπŸŒ β›“οΈπŸ”₯πŸ’– @sunshinesexpress, aka 𝐒.𝐄𝐗, is a Niagara-based experimental band.
