Jesus didn’t leave us powerless. 🔥

He sent us the Helper, the Holy Spirit.

The same Spirit who empowered the disciples to boldly proclaim the Gospel is the same Spirit empowering us today to live fearlessly for Jesus and fulfill the Great Commission.

The question is… are we fully receiving and walking in the power of the Holy Spirit?

🎙️ @markfrancey joins us on Collective Talk for a powerful conversation about the Holy Spirit and the boldness we’re called to walk in.

The Church was never called to escape the earth, we were called to impact it.

In this conversation with my dad, Ken Wilde, we talk about the temptation to look at the craziness of the world and simply want out. But Jesus gave us an assignment: “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

Our assignment is the earth.

We are here to bring the Kingdom of God into every sphere of life, to carry His presence, demonstrate His ways, and establish Kingdom principles here on earth.

We’re not waiting to escape. We’re called to engage.

His Kingdom. His ways. Here on earth.

What if comfort is the very thing keeping us from saying “yes” to God?

The rich young ruler walked away sad because following Jesus meant giving up the comfort and convenience his wealth provided.

And if we’re honest… how often do we do the same?

We want God, but we don’t always want to be interrupted by Him. We want His plans, as long as they don’t disrupt our routines, our security, or the life we’ve made comfortable.

Comfort isn’t always bad. But when we’re unwilling to surrender it, it might be worth asking:

Has comfort become an idol in my life?

Maybe the delay isn’t God saying no.

Maybe He’s making room for something you can’t see yet.

Some of the hardest seasons are the ones where nothing seems to be moving, where you’ve prayed, waited, trusted, and still don’t understand the timing.

But just because you can’t see what God is doing doesn’t mean He isn’t doing anything.

What feels like an interruption to your plan may be part of His preparation.

You don’t have to understand the whole story to trust the One writing it. 🤍

What if the interruption you’re trying to avoid is actually an invitation from God?

Jonah ran from the call of God because obedience meant leaving what was comfortable. He had his own plans, his own direction, and God’s call interrupted them.

But following Jesus was never meant to be about protecting our comfort.

Sometimes God will interrupt our plans, routines, and expectations, not to make our lives harder, but to lead us into something we never would have stepped into on our own.

The question isn’t just, “God, what are You calling me to?”

It’s also, “Am I willing to be interrupted?”

What if God could use even the most painful parts of your story for good? ❤️‍🔥

In this powerful moment, our guest @jessthrowiton_ reminds us that your lowest moment doesn’t have to be the end of your story.

God can redeem what felt broken. He can bring purpose from the pain and beauty from places you thought were beyond repair.

Don’t lose hope. God is still writing your story. 🙏

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him…” — Romans 8:28

Send this to someone who needs this reminder today. 🤍

Forgiveness has to come before confrontation. ❤️‍🩹

In this clip from Collective Talk, special guest Pastor @mariesilva shares an important reminder: before we confront someone about what they’ve done, we need to first deal with what’s happening in our own heart.

When we forgive first, confrontation doesn’t have to come from anger, bitterness, or the need to prove a point. It can come from a place of love, clarity, and a genuine desire for restoration.

We love when God answers our prayers according to the plan we had in mind.

But what about when His answer looks like an inconvenience?

When something, or someone, shows up in the middle of your perfectly planned day, maybe the question isn’t, “How do I get back on track?”

Maybe it’s, “God, what do You want me to notice here?”

Some of the moments we’re tempted to rush past may be the very moments God is asking us to slow down and pay attention.

Today, leave a little room for the unexpected.

You never know what God might do with a moment you didn’t plan. 🤍 taken in Orange County, California by @collectivetalk

🎙️ COLLECTIVE TALK with special guest @tracywilde

What if the interruption isn’t actually an interruption… but an invitation from God?

In this conversation, we’re talking all about divine interruptions, those unexpected moments when plans shift, doors close, something changes, or God seems to redirect us.

Instead of immediately asking, “Why is this happening?” what if we started asking:

“God, are You interrupting me? And what is it for?”

Maybe the interruption is protection.
Maybe it’s preparation.
Maybe it’s redirection.
Maybe God is trying to get our attention.

Don’t be so quick to resist the interruption that you miss what God wants to reveal through it. 🤍

Jesus is a bottomless source. 🤍

This week on Collective Talk, I’m joined by special co-host @markfrancey , and somewhere in the middle of our conversation, we landed on something I think so many of us need to be reminded of:

It’s so easy to believe, “If someone else is doing well, there’s less opportunity for me.”

Less room for my calling.
Less favor for my life.
Less opportunity for my family.
Less for me.

But that’s not how God works.

Someone else’s blessing doesn’t diminish what God has for you. Someone else walking in their purpose doesn’t take away from yours.

Jesus is not a limited resource. He is a bottomless source.

There is enough grace. Enough purpose. Enough provision. Enough opportunity. Enough of Him.

We don’t have to compete when we know where our source comes from. 🙏🏼
