3 became 4. Our darling little man Axel Luc born 2 weeks ago 3.3kg and long. Already giving me the middle finger. After our first I went pretty quiet on here retrospectively realising I had pnd. Birth and renewal hand in hand so seemed a nice moment to share💛 Work was insanely busy posting went on the back burner ( not even my 40th birthday party lol) but lots of brilliant things to share soon 40:39

Assisting the fabulous @anthonyturnerhair , a real Gem☀, for equally superb @erdem at LFW A/W 2023 using
@Olaplex. The inspiration for this collection was one of my favourite to date. Here is an excerpt;***

Whilst peeling back the layers of his Bloomsbury townhouse, Erdem discovered echoes of the building’s former residents. Sickly arsenic green wallpaper lined one room, long buried by subsequent owners. He found the drawing of a nude silhouette tucked away in a chimney breast. Evidence of a hatch in the kitchen next to the entrance hall suggested a monitoring of comings and goings, and the outline of a doorway gives a clue that the building was once connected to its neighbour. The old house has secrets. Who are its ghosts and what are their stories that linger still?

Centre-partings and low ponytails were integral which emulated the Victorian age as the period of inspiration.“We were inspired by the more riotous women of this century”, says AnthonyTurner,“

A year of Firsts and Changes . First steps, new house, new job, first time presenting on tv, new hobbies, new friends, the loss of some friends., new uneven boobs! Life is never always up but you have to jump on it when it is. ( no pun intended 😉) And process the downs swiftly to skip to the good bits. Having a baby seems to have given me a deep perspective of not only life but myself, knowing my worth, knowing my limits and failings and accepting it all. As part of that I had to stop berating myself for not sharing all my moments and ‘stay visible’ and accept I needed to take a break to reset. I hope 2022 was good for you and if it wasn’t I’m sure 2023 will bring you lots of wonderful moments. 💛You never know I might even start posting regularly.😉

Great experience to train the Sephora European training managers and EMEA team and of course to roam Paris with Coatsie. Lovely stay at the Bachaumont too. Highly recommend. Big Kisses French kisses

NEW JOB New Routine 💛👯‍♀️

In more ways than one… I’ve now worked a full week at my new job OLAPLEX as I take on the role of National Educator for the UK and Ireland.
Baby Iris has been amazing at nursery and sleeping in her cot and I have had the warmest welcome at OLAPLEX. Oh and I am realising the capabilities of this incredible range. This week my favourites on my hair are 4c clarifying shampoo, leaves my hair with more volume life and bright. It’s great for removing chlorine and build up and won’t make your hair dry! I follow with 4p.

TRICK OR TREAT 👻
Life sometimes be scarier than ghouls, be scared of the living not the dead, Mum always says.
End of an era as today marks my last day with bumble and bumble.
It was a scary choice to make but I’m excited for what’s next.
21 years ago I went to NY to bring back the incredible classes and notorious razor cutting. (…not the demon barber of Fleet Street… if you believe me) . I’ve lost count of the fashion weeks,shows, shoots, classes, digital trainings, and trips to the house of Bumble. I’ve had fantastical experiences, leading the hair for the Alexandra McQueen national history museum show, speaking at London fashion week, writing various articles, doing the look book various time for Erdem, working with the incredible Dominic Skinner and watching him grow. To the wonderful salons I have taught at and you’ve welcomed me in. Big thank you to everyone. I can’t list or tag you all because of the limits but try to spot yourself. And the ELC famous 5th floor cactus 🌵

HEATWAVE HAIR in 7 minutes
What to do for holiday hair 🎀 ..from beach to bar with minimum fuss. Dynamic elegance. Get the look below ⬇️

Hair by me for my lovely MUA friend
Make up @clairemullady
Model @elizvbethb

Get the look;
1. Mist the top only with water spray ( take a travel empty spray and mist yourself when you are hot too!) Then Centre part with a pintail comb
2. Spritz roots with a holding spray ( I’ve used Bb thickening spray 💛) Blow dry directionally for max hold then

3. Reapply a light mist of previous product or a flexible work spray ( like Bb does it all)
4. Brush back into a low pony
5. Secure with a bungee or a hairband
6. Smooth flyaways with a bristle brush and cover band with hair
7. Bring to life your ends whatever their texture. I’ve gone for Bb Heat shield thermal protection mist to detangle add gloss and protect from the sun! Works just as well on curlier or straighter hair.
… 7.5minutes run off for a mojito or in my case home to my baby 💛💛

It’s happening! After 11 years in this world my nephew is cutting off his locks ( never cut!) and helping two charities in one go! The @littleprincesstrustcharity will get 16inches to make into wonderful wigs for children. And the other is raising money ( link in bio) for @royalpapworthcharity as they helped cut out his mummy’s lung cancer .
