After six years away, @thaogetstaydown returns with Show Me, a record that gets into the messy business of desire, queer identity, family, and becoming someone you don’t entirely recognize yet. We talk about Vietnam, community, and the stories we tell ourselves to keep certain things at a distance. An artist looking inward without pretending to have it all figured out.

Some records take the long way home. 🌸

Emily Nyhuus of Reveal Party joins If It Be Your Will to talk about Prettiest Flower — nearly eight years of songs, second thoughts, big feelings, Midwest emo, and the strange business of becoming yourself.

We get into the records that changed everything, the art of knowing when a song is finished, and why sometimes you just have to let things grow.

New episode of If It Be Your Will with Emily Nyhuus of @revealpartyonline 🇸🇪

We get into Prettiest Flower — a record about becoming yourself, taking the long way there, and letting songs change with you. We talk Midwest emo, Neutral Milk Hotel, crushes, songwriting, perfectionism, and why some records simply need time.

A really good conversation

@natalieshaymusic is on #ifitbeyourwill ! 🎙️
We get into songwriting, stage fright, guitars, playing for thousands of people, finding confidence, and the strange art of talking between songs. It’s bubbly, honest, funny—and occasionally a little terrifying.
A very good chat with one of London’s most exciting singer-songwriters.

🎧 @thaogetstaydown is back with Show Me, her first album in six years—and it’s a deeply personal record about love, desire, identity, family, and learning to stop holding parts of yourself at a distance. A thoughtful, funny, very human conversation with an artist willing to look closely at where she’s been and where she’s going. Link in BIO… It’s an awesome chat!
