The Jolly Hog Colmanā€™s Mustard Toad in the Hole šŸøā  ā  If youā€™re looking for the ultimate comfort food with a bold, flavour packed twist, this @colmansuk mustard sausage toad in the hole is guaranteed to hit the spot. Golden, crisp Yorkshire pudding around our juicy, Outdoor Bred and RSPCA Assured pork sausages infused with the unmistakable depth of Colmanā€™s mustard, creating a dish thatā€™s both nostalgic and irresistibly indulgent. We've served this up with seasonal greens and a caramelised onion gravy!ā  ā  Ingredients šŸ‘‡ā  ā  - 1 pack of The Jolly Hog Colmanā€™s Sausagesā  - Sunflower Oilā  - 150g Plain Flourā  - 200ml of Milkā  - 2 Eggsā  - Fresh Thymeā  - Salt & Pepperā  ā  Method šŸ‘‡ā  ā  - Preheat the oven to 220cā  - Cook your Colmanā€™s mustard Sausages for 15 minutes or until lightly brownedā  - Whilst the sausages are cooking, to make the batter. Mix together your plain flour, 1/2 a tsp of saltā  - Crack your eggs into the mix and begin whisking, weā€™d recommend using an electric whisk for this. Constant whisking is key for a smooth batterā  - Whilst mixing, slowly add the milk into the mix, for a lighter crispier batter mix, add a small dash of water, set aside for nowā  - Add your sunflower oil into an oven proof dish and pop in the oven for 5 minutes to pre-heat before adding your batterā  - Remove the sausages and batter dish from the oven, set the sausages aside for nowā  - Pour the batter mix into your pre-heated dish and swiftly place your Colmanā€™s mustard sausages into the batter mixā  - Put the dish back into the oven for 25-30 minutes or until fully risen, crispy, golden and delicious (leave the oven door shut throughout for optimal results)ā  - Remove and top with some fresh thyme - serve with seasonal greens and onion gravy, enjoy!ā  ā  #sausages #britishflavours #new by @colmansuk
