In preparation of HOMEGROWN: AN ARTISTS’ HARVEST, join Odder Seeds at CoLodge for two evenings of craft, discussion, and local food. During the culmination of the Hamilton Farmers’ Market’s Harvest Festival, HOMEGROWN: AN ARTISTS’ HARVEST features an overflowing ‘harvest’ of art and writing on one of the Farmers’ Market’s Market Carts, open 9 am to 5 pm daily from Wednesday, October 7 to Saturday, October 10. See our pinned post for more details on our open call for art and writing! We’re hosting two Creative Harvest Gatherings at @colodgehamilton above @farsidehamilton on James St N! Join us for another CoLodge Open Mic, hosted by @kit.schh from @odderseeds, taking place this Friday! The open mic is open to all types of performers. Come share music, poetry, stories, and whatever else you’ve been working on. A guitar, keyboard, and mics will be available on-site, plus the option to plug in your phone or laptop for backing tracks. Want to get involved but don’t have something prepared? Grab a zine from our community library, made by [e]colodge attendees over the past month, and read a passage out of that. Too shy to get on the mic? Come out to listen anyway, and take part in some [e]colodge crafting, zine-making, and other activities while you’re here. 🎶 Locally Grown Notes Artist Spotlight: @luizgrante Luiz Grante is a Brazilian-born singer-songwriter, producer, and musical theatre performer whose music lives somewhere between indie, folk, and alternative, driven by storytelling, collaboration, and soulful performances. In 2025, he released the single “mango tree,” supported by the City Enrichment Fund. Luiz is deeply involved in Hamilton’s music scene, constantly writing, producing, and collaborating with local artists.
