Last weekend, we officially kicked off our 2026 Reproductive Justice Academy! 📣

Our mission with this program is to cultivate a new generation of Latine reproductive justice leaders who are grounded in community, trained in cross-issue advocacy, and prepared to lead change across systems.

RJ Academy aims to deepen understanding of Reproductive Justice through intersectional, culturally grounded education; cultivate leadership and advocacy skills centered in Latine, feminist, and abolitionist values; and build sustained community and political power among Latine leaders in Colorado. 🏛️

Colorado voters chose who carries our fight forward: people-powered leaders who show up, listen, and answer to community.

9 of 12 COLOR Action Fund-endorsed candidates advanced to the general election.

Five One Main Street-backed candidates were defeated.

On the four-year anniversary of the Dobbs decision, we are feeling reflective and resolute. They overturned Roe. We built power. They tried to take away our freedom. We organized our communities and fought back.

In 2024, COLOR Action Fund helped lead the campaign to pass Amendment 79, making Colorado one of the first states to enshrine abortion rights in our state constitution and remove barriers that existed between people and the care they need.

And we will continue building political power so Latine communities can lead safe, healthy, and self-determined lives because when our communities rise, Colorado rises with us.
