Nicolette is the woman behind Color Edit by Nic and one of the independent stylists who calls Blendology home.

One of the things I appreciate about Nicolette is how intentional she is behind the chair. She isn’t interested in giving every client the same version of “good hair.” She pays attention to the person sitting in front of her, what they actually want and what realistically works for their life.

She’s thoughtful about her work, she cares about the details, and she genuinely wants her clients to understand their hair rather than just leave with it looking pretty for the day.

And that really represents something I love about Blendology.

Every stylist here has her own business, her own way of doing things and her own relationships with her clients. There isn’t one Blendology “type” of stylist, and I never want there to be.

Nicolette has built Color Edit by Nic to feel completely like her, and I love that she gets to do that while still being part of what we’ve built together here.

Older? Yes. Wiser? Debatable. 😂 But definitely more grateful.

I have my babies, my best friend for a husband, the best family & friends, a career I love, and a life that may be a little chaotic but is pretty damn good. 🤍

Going into 36 feeling blessed, happy, and SO loved. Truly feeling the love from every direction and soaking it all in.

Here’s to another year of iced coffee, sunshine, date nights, family dinners, girls’ nights, making memories, and probably eating way too much pasta. 😂🍝🥂

We can keep the placement soft and subtle—adding just enough brightness around your face and throughout the ends to create dimension while still allowing you to feel like yourself. Because the highlights are blended away from the root, the grow-out is soft and there’s no pressure to maintain them every few weeks.
