📸 @lauresepaintz as I wait to meet Azariah, I stand in awe of God’s faithfulness. Even in the midst of heartbreak, He has continued to hold me, strengthen me, and remind me that His promises never fail.

This journey has taught me that grief and gratitude can exist together. I can deeply miss my first baby while joyfully preparing to welcome another precious gift. Both chapters are part of my story, and both have drawn me closer to God.

Thank You, Lord, for carrying me through every season. My heart is filled with love, remembrance, and hope.

Walking alongside you these past years has made me a better man and a better father. You are, by nature, a nurturing soul. From the moment we met, it was clear that Niyah was your everything. I saw firsthand the love, dedication, and strength you poured into her physically, mentally, and emotionally. I remember the nights as you explore every possibility to ensure Niyah had the resources, opportunity, and every ounce of support she needed.

I grew up in a home where a mother gave her all to protect and uplift her children, and I saw that same fire and devotion in you. Even before I came into the picture, Niyah was surrounded by love, laughter, and warmth. I know her happiness was central to the decision you both made to open your hearts, to make space not just for Brynn and me, but for all four of us to grow together as a family.

It has truly been a privilege to have Niyah in my life. I’ve seen how you raised her with dedication, love, and unwavering care. Niyah is intelligent, gifted, empathetic, and fiercely independent. She had a spirit that lit up every room and her heart felt deeply for others. Everything she became is a direct result of what you gave her.

Reese, I want you to hold on to this truth: you gave Aniyah Kamille Moore everything you had. You raised her in a home overflowing with love. You are the kind of mother others look up to. And in the quiet moments, when you’re alone with your thoughts, I hope you remember that. I know without a doubt that Niyah loved you just as deeply as you loved her.

We may never fully understand what led Niyah to her final decision. But I do know this, it was not because of any lack of love, support, or freedom in the home. You gave her everything. Now, we face a road filled with pain and questions. But thank God for the strength found in family and friends. We’ll walk this new path together, one day at a time, leaning on one another as we learn how to live in a world that feels different now.

Dear husband,
I just want to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you’ve done to help raise Niyah. From the very beginning, you stepped in with so much love, patience, and dedication, even though she isn’t your biological daughter. And that, to me, is the most selfless and beautiful kind of love there is.

You’ve never made her feel like anything less than your own. You’ve been her protector, her teacher, her cheerleader, and her safe place. I see how she looks at you..with trust, admiration, and so much love and I know that’s because of how consistently you’ve shown up for her.

Watching you love and guide her has made me love you even more. Parenting is never easy, but with you by my side, it’s been a journey filled with strength, grace, and countless moments of joy. Thank you for being the incredible man and father you are..not just in title, but in the way you live it out every single day.
