Mental Health Matters 🩵

Mental health has been at the heart of Kappa Kappa Gamma’s philanthropy for years, and it’s a cause we’re incredibly proud to support!

Here at Colorado State, our chapter is proud to partner with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) to advocate for mental health awareness, education, and resources. We strive to make a lasting impact by encouraging conversations around mental health and helping create a more supportive campus community.

Throughout the year, we love hosting various events like Kappa Kares Week, Kamp Kappa, Hoops for Hope, and more to bring our community together while supporting this important mission. 💙

“Hi! My name is Anika Rintamaki, and I’m from Overland Park, Kansas. Coming to Colorado from out of state, I didn’t know anyone and was definitely nervous about going through recruitment. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions l’ve ever made. Kappa has taught me so much about leadership, personal growth, and loyalty.
I’ve met some of my best friends, and I know these incredible women will be in my life for years to come!”

A few words from our dear president, @ryleighsnoww, regarding Panhellenic recruitment! ⚜️🩵

“Primary recruitment was by far the most impactful decision I have made in college. As a freshman who came to CSU from California, knowing no friends and scared for what my next four years would consist of, I knew joining a sorority would help me find out who I’m meant to be. On day one I felt kappa’s inviting and encouraging energy, and it ultimately helped me find my forever home! The friends I’ve made while in this chapter are friends I will grow old with. They will be my future bridesmaids!! The lessons I’ve learned and skills I’ve grown will carry me into post grad and stay with me forever. I couldn’t recommend signing up for primary recruitment enough!”
