For Colour INKspiration #219, we’re creating with Lost Lagoon, Azure Afternoon, Crushed Curry and Crumb Cake.

Even though pumpkins aren’t what we would usually create with here in Australia, the Painted Pumpkins Bundle from @stampinupofficial is my featured product of the month, so I am combining it with other elements to try and see how I can make it work for the Aussie girls. Here, the pumpkins sit in a garden of flowers from the 12 Days of Creativity bundle, with stamped leaves from the Lovely Arrangements bundle tucked around them.
The fence is die-cut from two-tone cardstock and sanded for a weathered finish. An ink-smooshed background, embossed with Rustic Check, adds another layer of texture—with plenty of white to keep things light.
And that little bee? He is a puffy sticker from the 12 Days of Creativity Advent Calendar. Sooooo cute!! And very relevant for me as we are dealing with a massive population growth in our backyard hives at the moment. It’s buzzing!!!!

And I will be creating this card tomorrow in my Whimsy Weekday Creative Live, along with some pumpkin alternatives.

Hello Friends! I'm so excited for today's card because it's one I created as a Guest Designer with Colour Inkspiration! Our colors for the challenge are Crushed Curry, Azure Afternoon, Lost Lagoon, and Crumb Cake.

I've been needing a bunch of wedding and anniversary cards lately, so that's what I wanted to make. I used the new stamp set Sweetly Sentimental and I paired it with the dies and sentiments from Delightful Wishes.

It's kind of hard to see in the photos, but the main yellow flower is "puffy". I stamped the flowers on the main scalloped panel and then stamped a cut a second big yellow flower. I manipulated the paper on the back of the flower to give it some dimension and make it look "puffy". I popped the second flower over the top of the first one with dimensionals. It really gives a cool look and makes this card a little extra special!

Welcome back for another Colour INKspiration challenge. This inspiration picture which has inspired our colour palette was chosen by Crew Member, Monica Formosa. We welcome Jenny Engelke as our Guest Designer.

For this challenge I took inspiration from the card fold that we have been making in my classes this week, a Side Column Fold Card. I have tweaked it a bit and just created a mini column to sit the large star on. It folds flat and then pops out for display.

Such a perfect card fold to show off the October Product of the Month - Shining Stars Dies. This fabulous set of dies is $9 with a qualifying order over $125 AUD, while stocks lasts. There are 23 nesting dies in the set (can you believe!), with a mix of straight and dotted edges.

Hello and welcome to our latest @colourinkspirationchallenges for #CI219 and the colours are Crushed Curry, Azure Afternoon, Lost Lagoon and Crumb Cake. You can also use the allowable colours and they are Basic White, Basic Black, Basic Beige and Very Vanilla. We also allow metallics and neutrals in the Stampin’ Blends. The inspiration photo was chosen by Monica. How gorgeous is this table full of lemons and bright blues against the wood grain.

I finally purchased the Radiant Sunflowers bundle and I just love the images from the stamp set and dies. I just love sunflowers!

Sometimes a card turns out completely different from what you had in mind! I’m really happy with how this one turned out. Does this ever happen to you?

I used Watercolour Pencils and Clear Wink of Stella on most of the sunflowers, with Stampin’ Blends in Crumb Cake and Azure Afternoon for extra colour. The leaves were inked with Lost Lagoon and a Blending Brush.

I also used leftover strips of Designer Series Paper for extra layers and fussy-cut some leaves to add more interest.

Welcome to our 219th challenge at Colour INKspiration!

Our inspiration image for this challenge was chosen by Monica Formosa. We welcome Jenny Engelke as our guest designer.

As well as the chosen colour combinations for #ci219 Crushed Curry, Azure Afternoon, Lost Lagoon and Crumb Cake you may also add Basic White, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Basic Beige and metallics to your project. We also allow ‘Ivory’, ‘Bronze’, and ‘Natural Tones’ in the Stampin’ Blends. If you don’t have the colours in our palette, feel free to use the closest Stampin’ Up! substitute - Daffodil Delight instead of Crushed Curry for example.

To get your creative ideas flowing, make sure you check out the Crew’s Projects in the CI219 album over on our Facebook page or follow us here on Instagram.

Challenge guidelines:

• Create a NEW project made specifically for this challenge.

• Use all of the challenge colour (or close subsitutions) unless stated.

@leonie.stuart Welcome to the Colour INKspiration Instahop for #CI218!

This gorgeous inspiration image made me think of Gingerbread and a Country Christmas! I love this image. The check cushion and throw as well as the heart of the Kitchen, the oven, is right up my alley.

The Neutral Noel Suite of products caught my eye as soon as I opened the page in the new catalogue.

Such beautiful stamps and dies to create serene Christmas scenes. I set about creating a country wreath using the products from the Suite.

COLOUR INKSPIRATION INSTAHOP - CHALLENGE

Members of the Colour Inkspiration Crew are hopping on Instagram to celebrate the launch of Challenge #218. The challenge is to feature Real Red, Pecan Pie and Basic Black. Basics like Basic White are also permitted.

I thought I would have fun with this colour combination and also feature the Christmas Mice bundle. One of the cute mice was stamped in Black, together with a Santas hat, bow, present and candy canes plus a tree from the Welcome Noel stamps. The images were coloured with Stampin’ Blends combos, ie Real Red and Pecan Pie. I couldn’t resist including a very little of Crisp Cantaloupe for the ears and some Ivory to lighten the Pecan Pie on the mouse. The background was embossed with the Subtle Weave 3D Embossing folder. The focal labels were die cut using the Tile Garden square dies. One of the Radiant Foils Speciality DSP created the larger square with a Basic White square layered on top. The background needed something so some thin strips of Winter Dreams Specialty and Sunflower Fields DSP were laid down. Some Real Red and White Bakers Twine and Adhesive-backed Sparkle Sequins added some embellishment.

From design team member, Cheryll @senseofwhimsy A little mixed media for Colour INKspiration #218!

Our colours for this challenge are Real Red, Pecan Pie and Basic Black — this challenge runs for three weeks, so plenty of time to create a project and join
The inspiration image was chosen by CI Crew Member Vicki Boucher and our guest Designer this challenge is Sonja Zierer.

For this project I’ve combined my September favourite, the Radiant Sunflowers Dies, with the Extraordinary Life Bundle from @stampinupofficial.
I took inspiration from mixed-media artist @loucollinscrafts, beginning with a soft watercolour background before adding stamped detail and texture with embossing paste.

The hexagons are a feature of the card, and I used Extraordinary Life dies to cut them from Watercolour paper washed and stamped with Pecan Pie ink, Real Red cardstock and some stamped, splattered and ink blended basic white card.

And then, of course, the sunflowers. I kept them mostly white, adding just a soft touch of Pecan Pie and deeper Pecan Pie centres.

The Real Red is used quite sparingly — a hexagon here, a little splatter there and that tiny heart.
And they are a little hard to see, but I add some clear 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies to the card.

We’re here to inspire you with our amazing creativity using this quite dramatic colour palette of Real, Red, Pecan and Basic Black. Our picture for this Challenge was chosen by fellow Crew member, Vicki Boucher and please welcome the lovely Sonja Zierer as our Guest Designer.

And the Twinkling Tidings bundle is the perfect go to for fun and festive playing!! But I really went crazy this time with the colours for our Colour INKSpiration challenge today!! What do you think?
