Shelter is life, in it we find everything we need.

Two kiwis have found a place here in Melbourne, and we figured the best way to make a home is to start with house.

Josh and Jimmy, A.K.A Knox and Helix, are excited to bring the sounds that shaped us across the ditch and throw some parties with grassroots talent from both sides of the Tasman. Expect stripped back grooves, sultry rolling tech house and prog, and some spacey electro to keep dance floors cozy.

Join us for the first instalment of Shelter, at one of our favourite spots in Melbourne - @thevicbar, with two highly talented selectors; kiwi @its_dj_momo_ and Melbourne local @colours_textures.

Free entry, limited space, all welcome. Come early and stay late.

Much love, see you there!!! taken in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia by @colours_textures

Wiggle Room introduces colours and textures!

Hailing from Darwin, Wiggle Room co-founder colours and textures is a Melbourne-based DJ and proud Vic local with a deep passion for house music. Previously running the Triple Threats party series, he now channels that same groove focused energy into Wiggle Room, a project centred around community, connection and bringing people together through dance music.

Blending house, deep house and timeless club sounds with fresh underground selections, his sets are built around movement and atmosphere. Having played at Fifty Five and Lucky Coq, he takes a selector’s approach behind the decks, favouring groove and feeling.

Through Wiggle Room, he aims to create welcoming dance floors inspired by the spirit of underground club culture, the kind of nights where strangers become familiar faces by the end of the night. taken in The Vic Bar by @colours_textures
