Oh SCASC camp, I have no words. This first camp and first overall year was absolutely beautiful. When I first ran and got elected and went to our D2 rally, I was very nervous, sheltered, and felt like I truly didn’t fit into the whole STUCO thing. But as time went on and I went to state and now camp, I truly feel that I belong and this week has just made me feel so filled with love and support with these amazing people. To @raya.sanii , thank you for all you’ve done. My first year on STUCO would not be the same without you. You’ve supported me, taught me, and showed me what a real leader does- shows compassion, loves all, and be filled with joy, like a ray of sunshine. Also @k.kashbabyy. To colegalloway104, cooperhicklinvb, @cotescuttino, thank you from the first day at camp accepting me into cabin 9 and just being friendly. I’ll never forget Cotes telling me, “don’t change yourself.” To Payton, you made my first year amazing and it wouldn’t be the same without you. To many many more like @tlominack09, @oliviawhit375, @karringtonsanders._, and so many more, I love you and I just thank you so much for everything. Till next time SCASC. State, I have no words to say. I’ve learned so many new things, ideas, and over all goals that shaped me to a better person. You showed me that beautiful things are ephemeral and that you should value those ephemeral things while they last. You also showed me that all though some candidates you chose may have lost, or the results didn’t go how you wanted them to, we all must keep working together and find hope in one another. Next year, I hope I can win my election again and come back to find even more newer faces, better ideas, and shape me into an even better person. But I’m not done this year, I CANT WAIT TO SEE YOU ALL AT CAMP 🤞 But all great things must end.
