Another great year with @forstrengthofyouth conferences this year as a coordinator!

This summer I’ve been reminded over and over again how God knows and loves his children. Living the gospel of Jesus Christ will bring us true joy. The Book of Mormon is the word of God and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God’s church on the Earth today. by @colterc9

As this semester has been starting, I’ve been thinking back on last semester and one of the most amazing opportunities I’ve ever had to teach at the Provo Missionary Training Center. The people I met and spiritual moments I had are definitely not going to be forgotten any time soon. Teaching here confirmed to me the love that God has for me and all His children and taught me to rely more fully on Him. It was a miracle that I was granted this opportunity and I saw miracles almost every day while there. Needless to say, I miss it a lot. by @colterc9

Guatemala 🇬🇹 pt 3. Lake Atitlan 🏝️. This was the one place everyone told me to visit while living here and I finally got to. It was so cool to see the beautiful markets and views from the lake. I took the last pic right from the window of our airbnb. by @colterc9

Guatemala 🇬🇹 pt 2. Volcán acatenango and fuego 🌋 featuring way too many photos of myself. Genuinely one of the most amazing things I’ve ever experienced. Spending the night above the clouds at 12000 ft on an actively erupting volcano is not something I’ll soon forget. by @colterc9

Guatemala 🇬🇹 pt 1. The city and coast! Highlights included catching a 140lb yellowfin tuna and surrounded by thousands of dolphins, meeting up with some really cool friends, getting to stop by the Miraflores temple that used to be my mission office, and seeing my mission presidents again. Love these people! by @colterc9

Two years ago I finished my time as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Guatemala. It’s crazy how time flies. Since then I have been able to serve and teach in other capacities. Whether as a missionary, counselor, or teacher, I have experienced so much joy as I’ve shared the light and excitement that the gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me.
