This video was captured at a live event in a stunning, full reception space. It’s a perfect example of why we offer professional amplification with our string ensembles.

You’ll hear the trio first without amplification, followed by the same music through the house sound system. What changes is how effortlessly the music reaches the entire room. Normally we would use our own sound equipment, but for this event a house sound system was already equipped in the space.

For a busier event such as a cocktail hour, dinner, or larger reception where guests are talking and moving throughout the space, amplification allows the music to remain clear, balanced, and present without overpowering the atmosphere. Exceptional live music isn’t just about the performance, but rather about how the experience feels from every spot in the room. With Columbus Musicians, we make sure there's not a bad seat in the house for your special event.

🎶 Turn up the volume and hear it for yourself.

🎶 Meet Jordan Popovsky! 🎶

Today, we’re introducing Jordan Popovsky, our Marketing Director! ✨

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Jordan is an entrepreneur, marketing professional, and performer who brings a unique perspective to the Columbus Musicians team. As Marketing Director, she leads the company’s marketing strategy, social media, and creative direction, helping shape the refined image and experience that defines Columbus Musicians.

A proud Buckeye, Jordan earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Vocal Performance and Animal Sciences from The Ohio State University in 2025. Her love for entrepreneurship began during the pandemic, when she launched her first business called Beadznwirez, a handmade jewelry and décor company that grew a strong customer base throughout Ohio and beyond.

Of course, music has always been at the center of Jordan’s life. Although classically trained, her performance career spans jazz, musical theatre, commercial music, and more. Today, she is the founder of her second business, She Entertains Productions, LLC, an entertainment company encompassing several musical projects under her leadership. Since graduating in 2025, Jordan has been working throughout Ohio as a vocalist, bandleader, educator, and featured artist.

Jordan is thrilled to combine her passions of music and entrepreneurship to bring something unique to the Columbus Musicians team. When Jordan is not working behind the scenes or performing herself, you can find her hanging out with her cats or doing something outside. Jordan loves hiking, rock climbing, and horseback riding to name a few!

Welcome to the team, Jordan! by @columbusmusicians
