10 years a Londoner today! I didn't think I'd last 10 weeks. My family didn't think I'd even manage that! But now I can't imagine living anywhere else. Thank you to all the communities who have welcomed me, and to the individuals who have loved me. I owe all this to you. Here's to the next 10 years. by @combataccountant

I don't travel. I've never flown. I've never left the south of England, let alone the UK. So when my friends invited me to a wedding in Iceland, my first instinct was to say "No". I'm so very pleased that I did not. My trip to Iceland has been one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had, and my biggest boundary push in almost a decade. These images are but a meager fraction of the beauty I have seen this week. Thank you so much to @audreylebrellec and @jes.gislason for inviting me, and to @actiondita and @vlad.cherniavskyi for being my guides and companions for this new experience. Every experience I have in the future which builds on this, I owe to you. Now. Where to go next...? 1 - Our brave/foolish adventurer 2 - First time on a plane 3 - Pre-wedding walk into the wilds of Hveragerรฐi... 4 - ...through foothills... 5 - ...through forests... 6 - ...to the riverbank where the wedding itself took place 7 - Reception in a Viking hall 8 - My dapper guardians 9 - Fancy wedding brunch 10 - A moment with the married couple - congratulations to you both! 11 - Trolls in the hills 12 - Looking out over Reykjadalur Valley... 13 - ...where the hot springs are warm enough to bathe in 14 - Keriรฐ Crater, a lake in a collapsed volcano 15 - The majestic Gullfoss 16 - Serving treats (and my fingers) to the friendly locals 17 - The sulfur plains at Haukadalur 18 - Flowers in Thingvellir National Park... 19 - ...where the cliffs are formed by the border of two tectonic plates 20 - Land sighted on the journey home by @combataccountant
