Day one is done and dusted, but no fear my friends. You have 5 more days and 6 more opportunities to catch Combat Cabaret perform live this week.

Combat Cabaret presented by Conor Duffy and Eoin O'Flaherty is a multidisciplinary show about breaking the boundaries of the binary gender divide. Our heroes find power in the ultimate masculine art of stage combat which is skillfully merged with burlesque influences and a big dose of comedy.

Are you ready to get hot under the collar? We have you sorted!

Don't miss Within Reach by Alan Greig & Combat Cabaret by Eoin O’Flaherty and Conor Duffy - a double bill of LGBTQI+ theatre, dance and performance at @wildestages 4-9 May!

Drawing inspiration from queer icons including Joan Crawford and Quentin Crisp, Within Reach is a humorous and eccentric dance theatre solo that explores identify, aging and the cracked glamour of fame, while Combat Cabaret combines burlesque, a bickering duo and stage combat to battle gender norms - think queer culture meets Laurel & Hardy, but with dazzling latex instead of bowler hats.

Queer stories, cultural reimagining's, humour and physical virtuosity await!

Absolutely honored to announce that Combat Cabaret will be part of this year's Wilde Stages (formerly known as Dublin Gay Theatre Festival)

Eoin and Conor are a delightful bickering duo. They are a team, a symbiotic pairing that blossom in the chaos they cause each other. Think queer meets Laurel & Hardy. But change the bowler hats for thigh highs and dazzling latex. And swords, lots of swords. Stage combat combined with burlesque, our heroes battle gender norms.

Next up, a dynamic duo!! We have Combat Cabaret🧨 @combatcabaret

They are two male presenting artists in predominantly male fields, especially stunts, and they want to showcase the diversity of and question masculinity. This is their way to fight back against gendered expectations that can be present in the artforms of stunts and burlesque.
