After days filled with Playa, Montaña, y Sol on repeat, face paint smudged into laughter, sunburns, singing with kids and volunteers, and piecing together conversations in a language I don’t speak.
After new friendships sparked and more cups of coffee than I can count…
Leaving Costa Rica was not a goodbye. Leaving became a see you later.

Before a thought is thought,
Before a word is spoken,
There was beauty created by an intentionally beautiful Lord.

You can find beauty in the silence:
Each wave, each grain of sand, every vibrant color and unique shape of each plant on the mountainside.
There is an intentionally beautiful Lord.

After some time, when you finally decide to ask the Lord to give you eyes to see and ears to hear the beauty He created,
There is pain, there is grief, there is sadness.
There is also joy, love and so much more.

There are beautiful thoughts, beautiful words, and beautiful songs.
For His beauty holds marvelous things.

In everything you see and hear, you will get to know and see an intentionally beautiful Lord. taken in Costa Rica by @combs.ryleigh

A year full of (now) funny stories, sweet memories, new opportunities, new relationships, and answered prayers. The Lord has continually shown me His faithfulness, even in my own unfaithfulness. by @combs.ryleigh
