Woahhh step back in time with us and celebrate the new season of @thecroods Family Tree streaming on @stanaustralia with @dreamworksjr 🪨

The kids were so lucky and were gifted #croodsonlyonstan pack which is #giftedbydreamworks and @comeroundanz

They had so much fun having some friends around watching the new series while rock painting, colouring in. They loved cupcake decorating and playing with the inflatables.

If you haven't watched it, be sure to check the series out!! 🤩 by @comeroundanz

🎨🪨 Making of the Rocks 🪨 🎨

🎊 The Croods: Family Tree - Themed Party 🎊

So I had an 💡 that I thought 💭 might make it easier but it didn’t work 😳 The idea 💡 was tracing the characters faces, from the provided colouring books, & transferring the images via grey lead scribble on the back & a retrace 🤗 but it did not work 🥺 so while it was still fresh in my hand & mind memory I just redrew them onto the rocks 🪨 & then later painted them using the provided paints 🎨 plus a little bit of the @lifeofcolour.pens we have as there was no yellow provided for the lettering of Croods & I had to try & do some mixing to make a lighter shade of brown for the characters faces & also greens as there was none.

It also was a fun 🤩 matching activity for Mr 4 & Mr 9 to have a go at by finding the rock 🪨 that matched the image in the colouring book 📖 too & place them on. There was a bit of excitement with doing this too, with comments such as, “there’s one, there’s one!”.

🪨Rock Cake or Real Cake 🧁

🥳 Let’s Par-tee 🎉

It’s also World Children’s Day today - 20th November
So what better way to celebrate 🎊 than by throwing a little surprise after school/Kinder Croods party 🎉 with painted character rocks 🪨 & real cupcakes 🧁 (freshly baked, packet mix) for both boys to enjoy 🤗 The air inflated ‘bombie-knockers’ (as ive nicknamed them) were a big ‘hit’ - pun intended 😆

🪨 also featured is mini pastel cups by @kinfolkpantry with black galaxy @wilddough.co playdough balls with some ‘delicious dirt’ sprinkled on top 😋

How well do you know your family tree? Perhaps if you go back far enough, you might find the Croods in there! The Croods: Family Tree sees our favourite stone-age family back for another season right now, streaming on Stan, and to celebrate we had a fun little Croods-themed party, doing some rock painting n enioying yummyCroods cupcakes! This entertaining animated series from Dreamworks Animation follows on from their awesome films and is heaps of fun for the whole family. Thank you for the free #CroodsOnlyOnStan pack which was #GiftedbyDreamWorks!
