POSTS STORIES REELS

So, when I was 13, I had to attend a 'career day' at school.

And I still hadn't figured out what I wanted to be.

So I wore a construction outfit saying I wanted to be an electrician.

A year later, one of my aunt's realised that I was taking lots of notes.

So she asked me "what do you want to be?"

I nervously said "I want to be a businessman."

"Good, good. What kind?"

...

😶"Uhm... construction."

"Look, it's ok if you haven't figured out what you wanted to be, just don't waste your time."

That stuck in me for ages.

And guess what?

I learned copywriting from January 4th this year.

Did I fall? Yes.

Am I going going to give up? Of course not.

Sometimes I feel thankful that I failed a bit.

You know why?

Because I had never dreamt of applying to work.

I wanted to work from home, get rich and operate multiple businesses at the same time.

That's what I never told anyone.

Except you, of course. 😁

So, buckle up guys.

This show is going to be thrilling!❤️ by @comfortgift_

5 Reasons Your Emails' Open Rates Are Low

(Number 4 and 5 Is May Be Reasons Why)

1. Your Emails are Heavily Designed

When you send emails that are heavily design-templated,

Gmail automatically flags your emails as promotion emails,

hence they land in the Promotions tab.

2. Promotional Keywords

Words like "buy now", "sale", "offer" focus heavily on promotion(s) hence they land in Promotions tab.

3. Too Many Links and/or Images

You probably have never heard of this but it's true.

Too many links trains Gmail to think you're promoting many products in one email.

4. Little Or No Email Segmentation.

Yep.

Bulk sending is one of the worst ways to go about it...

because some subscribers may no longer be interested

or are no longer using those email addresses they used to subscribe to your list.

5. Using a Bulk Domain

Email addresses with a domain like @mailchimp, etc. don't deliver as much.

Instead, you should use kind of a personal domain, e.g comfort@thecopywriter.com.

Personal domains convert better because Gmail thinks it's an email to a friend.

If you need help with writing copy that only converts but builds trust and drive engagement,

For every $1 spent, you can expect a staggering $36 return.

"But why are emails such a great investment?"

1. Conversions and click-through rates are significantly higher 📈

2. Your email subscribers are already interested in buying, they just need a little nudge 💡

"Okay, so what's the pro tip to making money as with emails?"

Engagement.

It's all about building a relationship with your audience.

Think about it.

The last time you bought from an email, you likely did a micro-commitment first.

Maybe you replied to a survey, watched a video, or moved their email to your primary tab.

These small actions build trust, and trust leads to sales!

However, however,

While other marketing assets are important, emails should be your money-generating machine!

So, if you want to make real money with emails:

- Build your email list with care and attention

- Engage with your email subscribers. This will take time if you weren't really into emailing but it does work out over time

- Learn the basics of email copy and use it to craft compelling messages

- Track your open rates, CTRs, and revenue from each email to see the compounding effect over time

Don't underestimate the power of email marketing!

There are businesses that made around $50,000 in their last email.

It's time to make email marketing a priority and watch your business grow!
