It's nice to be back outside again after fighting off a cold ! Of all the symptoms, coughing is always the last to go, and I always find myself thinking about reaching for a cough drop . Even though some cough drops are marked sugar free, you may be surprised to find that they are still not good for your teeth ! Cough drops contain acids that can erode your teeth and alcohol that can dry out your mouth - both which can contribute to decay, especially when eating them frequently. Instead, try to alternate cough drops with other soothing remedies like warm water or xylitol candy to keep your mouth and throat hydrated. by @comfydentist

#transformationtuesday . This patient hated how bulky, yellow, and long her two front teeth were. Two veneers helped enhance her smile to give her a much more natural beautiful smile. by @comfydentist

This patient wanted to whiten her existing veneers and broaden her smile without changing the shape and size of her teeth . Just some minor tweaks can brighten someone's face completely ! taken in Pacifica, California by @comfydentist

This patient had a chipped tooth and a crown that really drew the eye and the patient was unhappy with.

We enhanced these teeth with just two beautiful natural looking porcelain restorations resulting in a beautifully blended, natural looking smile.

As a dentist 🦷, it is important to constantly learn the newest information to ensure my patients get the best care. This week I traveled to the Academy of General Dentistry conference in Orlando, FL to take multi-day courses in order to do just that ! Of course, it's also important to have a little fun while you are at it 😉. Took a few extra days to enjoy Disneyworld 👑 with my fellow colleagues. taken in Orlando, Florida by @comfydentist
