What is a trans lit reading?

This is an event for transgender and nonbinary writers to read their work in front of a queer audience. This isn't just for bringing community together, it's to help empower trans and nonbinary writers to create for and receive feedback from a queer audience. Whether you're a writer or not, come and enjoy a night of literature!

Date: Saturday, June 20th
Time: Doors 5pm, Start 6pm
Location: NAMNAM Space, 3-8-12 Koenji Kita 4F
Participation: pay as you feel

This event will mainly be conducted in English with some Japanese support. We won't provide translation services for each reader, however we encourage people to read in any language.

このイベントで、トランスおよび／ノンバイナリー作家が自分が書いた文書をクィア聴者の前に読み上げてくれます。これがコミュニティを集めるためだけではなく、トランスおよび／ノンバイナリー作家のエンパワーメントを支え、クィア聴き手との意見交換ができるスペースを開けようとします。作家かどうかに関わらず、文学の夕べを楽しみに来て！

時間：開場17時、開始18時
場所：NAMNAM Space（高円寺北3-8-12 4F）
参加費：寄付制

このイベントは主に英語で開催され、日本語を少し対応できます。各作家に通訳支援をしませんが、ご遠慮なくお好みの言語で読み上げてください。

Lobster Miso ramen at Pai Men Miyake in Portland, Maine! Not just miso ramen with a beautiful lobster tail, the broth is made with a lobster stock. Pretty unique bowl! The broth definitely makes this worth trying. Is it my new favorite miso? No, but if I want lobster in ramen, this is incredible.

A literal Swedish smorgasbord and seafood tower in Portland! The tinned muscles were out of this world. Truly though, what could a trans girl want more for a birthday dinner than a plate of pickles and salty things? Thank you @feurekaw for taking me! 🥰 by @comic_samanthas

My first brew of Gesha Coffee from @ghowellcoffee, in my favorite @1369coffeehouse mug! Came out great in the v60, strong floral flavors, definitely raspberry, a hint of rhubarb, but not jammy, a unique cup of coffee that's not hiding it's flavor. It's cold brew time with coffee from @tandemcoffeeroasters bought at @vinalbakery! I never thought of using an espresso blend for cold brew but I'm excited to try these beans in a new way since they're what Vinal uses in their cold brew! taken in Cambridge, Massachusetts by @comic_samanthas

らぁめん山と樹 may be better than Tsuta, the first ramen shop in Tokyo to receive a Michelin Star. Here I ordered the seasonal salmon/bonito shoyu. Topped was perhaps the best pork loin I've ever had. Tender and rare with an amazing light flavor that honestly I may enjoy better than any steak. Somehow it tastes even better with the hint of salmon from the broth. The picked mushrooms, egg, and nori are also the best toppings I've had on a bowl in a long time. The noodles were firm and just thin enough to pick up the thin broth while think enough to have a good bite to them. Really this bowl has a lot going on without attacking you about it! Anyone who wants that Michelin Star ramen experience without getting in line at 6am to get it, go here! taken in 山と樹 by @comic_samanthas
