Went on a back issue hunting expedition around Jersey today. @njcomicstop has to be one of the raddest stores around here. Tons of good stuff in their $1-5 bins, and the staff treated us like homies. So worth the trip. Also got a few books at Secret Origins. by @comicskwerl

Man, what a saga this one has been. And probably shall continue to be. This was a 9.8 I submitted to CGC’s Krysten Ritter signing back in September or so last year. I walked right past her signing line at NYCC happy to save that time. Then CGC cancelled the signing. They’d already cracked the slab, but regraded it and sent it back to me, and luckily it survived the ordeal unscathed. Then Twin Cities opened orders for Comicpalooza, so I went through them for one more shot. The book is finally back in my hands with Krysten’s sig, and it looks great. But that second crack and regrade wasn’t as lucky as the first. Looks like it got a little spine crunch somewhere in the shuffle. I’m not mad at anyone; this happens all the time under all the best circumstances. But now the question is whether or not to send it back to CGC for a press, to see if I can get it back to 9.8. It’s not super important to me, honestly, but also honestly, it seems fixable enough that it’ll probably bug me. We’ll see… by @comicskwerl

I’ve always wanted a spinner rack. They’re so hard to find and never cheap. Literally every comic nerd has always wanted a spinner rack. And now I finally have a spinner rack. Loaded it up with a whole short box of classic facsimiles and readers I’ve been hoarding away. by @comicskwerl

Boom! 🧨 Thanks to a solid deal from @excaliburcomicspdx, my Saga run is now complete, with a beautiful copy of the first issue. I threw in the WOT #1 variant while I was at it, along with an extra copy of (“New”) X-Men #131 that’s totally doomed as a collectible, but I just need to study the @billsienkiewiczart ink work over @johnpaulleon pencils. So tight, so efficient, just masterful work I endlessly admire and obsess over. by @comicskwerl

I’m glad I have (and am happy to pay for) digital access to DC’s comics catalog to read on the go, but can someone explain to me how DC’s app has no sorting feature? At all? No default sorting, no ability to sort alphabetically, by date, by most recent issue, anything? You ever walk into a comic book store with no organization of any kind whatsoever? What’s up @jimlee @dccomics @dcofficial by @comicskwerl
