BATHROOM DONE 🛁 (almost 3 years later hehe)

I didn’t get a chance to take proper before photos back in 2021 (but you can kind of see in the video on slide 5).
Removed asbestos and changed the entire layout, creating a much more functional and modern look. Proud 🥹 taken in Perth, Western Australia by @cominoproject

NEW ROOF & PATIO, WHO DIS?
@conderingcarpentryandroofing worked their bums off over Christmas & New Years to get the re-roof & patio done. Plus, the patio was a marketplace STEAL and the boys knew exactly what to do to make it look new 🤌🏼

BEFORE → AFTER (almost)

The backyard isn’t quite finished and there’s still plenty we want to do but the A Team ( @flaneurmusic + @millodwyer + @medders17 ) worked tirelessly over the Christmas break to get it to where it is!

It’s amazing what a lick of paint can do to a shitty old asbestos fence and shed😉 - thanks @carldrake 🎨

We have:
✅Cleared the entire yard, removing all old grass and pavers with a kanga
✅Turned the soil & added new lawn soil
✅Installed retic
✅Laid garden bed edging using recycled bricks
✅Laid new lawn
✅Added Gin Gin Quartz for fire pit section
✅Painted the fence & shed
✅Plants are here ready to be planted in the garden beds - a mixture of fruit trees & Australian natives taken in Perth, Western Australia by @cominoproject

When life gives you lawn 🍃

With no notice and the clock ticking, we pulled a late night and early morning to turn the soil and remove all roots from the old grass, dig in and install the retic, add new sand, compact and lay the lawn 😂 fair to say it was one of the biggest hustles of the reno so far!

PROGRESS UPDATE💥
✅Bathroom tiling almost complete
✅Laundry & toilet tiling well underway
✅Ceilings & walls painted
✅Full electrical re-wire & downlights installed
✅Plumbing
✅Skirting, doors and frames first coat

➡️Floor sanding is starting today and kitchen and laundry install in just over a week!!!

The current state of our backyard is a bit wild as we’ve been focusing on getting the inside of the house liveable BUT we have SO MUCH room for activities 🤪
