@thebrooklynartsdistrict Bloody Mary Crawl is on Saturday, November 21st from 12 to 5PM, and you get to be the judge. Restaurants and bars across the Brooklyn Arts District are mixing up their best Bloody Marys, and it’s completely free to attend.
Round up your besties and spend the afternoon wandering from spot to spot. Some are spicy, some are loaded with a bunch of garnishes , and all of them are up for your vote.

This is my most-visited spot in Wilmington.. and I was gatekeeping it on purpose.👀
 My friends and I are here at least once a week. Most weeks it’s three times. And honestly? They deserve way more recognition than they get. So here we are. 
Located in the Brooklyn Arts District, The Commodore Public House and Kitchen has that true neighborhood bar feel. Laid back, everybody’s friendly, and it’s the kind of place where you go so often they eventually just know your order. 
But it’s SO much more than your typical neighborhood bar. The food is ACTUALLY good. Think elevated bar food with Latin and Caribbean influences, brunch, lunch specials, drink specials, and a rotating seasonal menu so there’s always something new to try. 
And the wings? Rated number one in Wilmington. **By my dad, who takes his wings very seriously😂 My friends and I can’t get enough of the Notorious 620 wings or the North 4th Salad. Add the steak and thank me later.

The whole place has this chill, slightly nautical feel that just works in Wilmington. And don’t be surprised if the owner or chef comes out to check on your table. They genuinely care about your experience. That’s just the kind of place this is.

But then you head out back and somehow it gets even better. There’s a huge lawn with picnic tables, an airstream bar, and a live music stage. You go for dinner and a drink and somehow you’re still there a few hours later.. especially when the sunset skies over downtown decide to show off.

Really good food. Great drinks. Live music. Incredible company. And that neighborhood feeling where even if you show up alone, chances are you won’t feel like it for long. 
THIS is what I mean when I talk about loving life in Wilmington. It’s not just that we have good restaurants. It’s having places like this. The spots you end up at every week, where people know you, and that eventually just start to feel like YOUR spot.
